so I got my driver’s license that’s the main thing I’ve been trying to do for MONTHS now yay

anddd I’m pretty sure I feel another kintype re-emerging 😭😭 only thing is that the source is very problematic, not the show itself but the creator. this kintype developed when I was like 9 before this creator was even outed as problematic & before I knew what fictionkin even was, but I’ve recently found myself coming back to it & realizing I’m definitely kin with one of the characters & I’ve been periodically kinshifting to him, which I’ve been trying to suppress because of the aforementioned problematic creator, but I realized there’s really no good done in suppressing problematic kintypes.

I won’t be disclosing right now because I’m still kind of embarrassed unfortunately but most of you probably wouldn’t even be familiar with the source since it’s like, a relatively obscure mid-2010s YouTube sparkledog animation 😭😭

I once got my wrist broken in two paces by a cousin close to my growth plate and the first ER we went to told my parents that it was a fracture and I was stuck in an uncomfortable brace for like 3-4 weeks until a doctors visit said “No, that is a broken wrist you need a cast not a brace” so I got put in a brace for like 4 months so it could heal. A teacher even took my brace cause I kept messing with it cause it was crazy uncomfortable and even hurt a bit.

I have a scar on the top of my nose between my eyes that almost touches one eye. I got it jumping off a bunk bed and hitting a ceiling fan and having to get stitches as a kid. I get anxious about it but I love it regardless

I have a bad tendency of getting lost anywhere and going into stranger's cars when I'm walking down the street and they ask if I need a ride. But it's okay cuz I turned down the last one. Learning my lesson 💪

I thought for the first 14 years of my life I was an identical twin but turns out I'm fraternal. I look exactly like my mom and she looks like my dad but we can pass off as each other and have successfully.

Ever since I was a child I felt insecure on how dirty my ears felt so much so that I would always clean them with a cotton bud/swab at least twice a day. It all went downhill at the age of 13 when a piece of cotton got stuck in my ear and I had to go see a doctor because my ears started to bleed and I couldn't hear anything. Sadly, I never grew out of that habit and now take medicine for my ears.

My art teacher in high school HATED me and everyone at our table (3 of us). Maybe because we were weird, maybe because we actually had fun with our projects, we'll never know, BUT!

We were also some of the technically best artists in the class, so she couldn't fail us while we were placing in art contests

We called ourselves the Ooga Booga Tribe, and for our 3d paper art project, we made a purple sheep, in a yellow banana hammock, between two palm trees, with shooting stars coming out of the tree tops. It met every metric, was one of the most creative projects in the class, and we got an A

Used to be a pretty hyper kid, bonk my head into the small kid fortress room ledge in one of my relative house. and now i have a 1 cm bald spots right in the middle of my bang hair forhead line which thankfully the hair line grow over so i can tie my hair up or cut deep bang to cover it

I'm sixteen and still have baby teeth! One of them broke and I think the tooth is so old my gum is trying to grow into it because it has a lot of flesh on the inside. I basically have half a jaw tooth and it bleeds when I brush it too hard.

I broke my finger right before school and both my mom and the nurse told me I was fine so I went through the school day with a broken bone. It was not until the end of the day that we went to the doctor and they were like yep that's DEFINITELY broken. My finger is still crooked lol

When I was growing my tendons didn’t, so they were pulling up the heel of my foot and I walk on my tip toes. I got diagnosed a couple years ago with tip toe syndrome and I’m still doing physical therapy to stretch the tendon, so far I’ve improved! But for now I’m stuck with permanent Barbie feet

when i was 8 i got on a non-moving treadmill, and then my cousin turned it up to mach ten and it flung me back against the wall pinnning me there and the skin on my knees and elbows got burned off. my cousins and older brother then tried to fix it by putting water on it (ow) and begged me to not tell mom but i was litarally bleeding everywhere so they put a blanket over me. i sat there for five minutes before hobbling upstairs wailing for my mother and when i was finally bandaged i looked like i walked out of a car accident. 2/10 worst family reunion ever. im scared of treadmills now. @daburdboi @sweet-drmzzz @stansavvy @solzinstarzzz

When me and my two cousins were young (like 10 11 and 12 probably) we were at our grandmas house and we decided to play charlie charlie, we were terrified bc we were young and ghosts are scary.

As we were playing, every time we asked him a question we'd run around her house to see if he had moved anything. Every time, something had been moved.

Turns out, the moving pillows and fruits and stuff was not in fact a fake ghost, but was instead my mom, aunt, and uncle moving things to freak us out. It was actually super fun.

I go volunteer at my local cat shelter to clean cages at a pet store (because the pet shelter tectnically still owns the cats) and cat shelter drama is FASCINATING apparently they STOPPED MOVING THEIR CATS TO THE SICK ROOM and kept them in the regular room

because of this a lot of cats had to go back to the shelter early because of whatever sickness was going around

ALSO ALSO that shelter apparently doesn't put up "hey guys??? does anyone own this cat" for prettier cats hoping they can sell them and get a quick buck

3. I do have shifts but its not often, I've never had a cameoshift. I get phantom shifts quite often though, mainly as paws :3

A calico Maine coon/Norwegian forest cat and Sol from Warrior Cats!! I’m not sure if my therianthropy comes from being fictionkin or not, but I identify with both labels.

I would consider myself constantly shifted (I know there’s a word for that but I forgot it lmao). I never feel human, at all - I am always a cat, and always feeling those instincts.

It affects almost everything! I feel disturbed by my body not fitting me, and I have for as long as I can remember. I experience cat instincts, such as rubbing my cheeks on things, wanting to knead things when I’m happy, wanting to purr, etc, and I feel those on a day-to-day basis.

It depends on the site tbh 😭 the Tumblr community is nice, but I feel like a lot of people here are so quick to jump on other creatures for not knowing proper terms and things like that and it rubs me the wrong way. Remember you were once new to the community, too!

Probably being treated like a cat, wearing kin-affirming items, being called by my proper name, things like that!!

I consider myself both a spiritual and psychological alterbeing. I’ve felt like a cat for as long as I can remember, and I go with the reincarnation theory a lot. I believe I originate from the Warriors universe, and to that place I will one day return. I also attribute my autism to how much it affects me, though, as being heavily bullied and isolated caused me to lean even more into my animality, if that makes sense.

btw it's ok to be wrong about a kintype. if you find out you were someone else or your feelings were mistaken that's ok. I'm wrong about my current life memories all the time so why wouldn't I be wrong about memories that are even harder to recall? it's ok to change your mind and say "no... wait actually" . just so you know. wires cross and memories r misinterpreted. it's normal to be unsure sometimes.
