The entire situation with Qwelver, RoxSerpent and Dandy's World has me feeling... a lot.
I wish to preface this with the fact that Dandy's World helped me out of an extremely hard time in my life, and is likely the reason for me stopping my whole radio silence online as a whole, as my fear of a negative response used to paralyze me to the point that I'd never say anything,
Back on July 24th of last year, my friend asked me to try this game out with him, and thus, to come back to Roblox as a whole. I quickly fell in love with the game and fell super hard for Astro.
Back in November, I remember seeing some whisperings of what happened with RoxSerpent back in 2024 due to the whole thing with Mox Nox. As I obviously wasn't around for the first controversy with him and Qwel, I had naively assumed that she was innocent, and a known pred was trying to worm his way back into the fanbase.
Even back in June of this year, I was in pretty deep denial about the whole situation, with a naive hope that Qwelver would make a timely response, and hoping beyond hope that it was just Duck Adam being a clout chaser and that everything coming out was false.
This thought of course doubled down hard when Rox himself decided to comment on the situation. Because why would we ever believe a known groomer/ped0, right?
But since then? The testimonials of multiple ex-BlushCrunch employees have come out detailing just what a horrific work environment they had, as well as Qwelver's negligence in allowing Rox to remain there for so long.
There's been radio silence for nearly a month now, and there was that one screenshot floating around where she says "if it gets out, it's over. We endure and move on"
And to top everything off.. Qwelver has served the one who originally spoke out with a Cease and Desist.. and I've heard the possibility of a lawsuit against them as well.
Qwelver is a disgusting person who so many of us had originally assumed was innocent... if not a victim herself.
I will likely not be playing Dandy's World going forward until Qwelver either willingly resigns, or is forcibly removed from her position. I obviously cannot make your own decisions about continuing to play for you, but I can at least ask you to consider not playing for the time being, buying any UGC/game passes, or any physical merch from them directly.
