Can't remember if I ever posted about this, but all 3 of my MRIs came back clear (which is inherently a good thing, but also frustrating in that it means I still don't have answers about why my body is continuing to fail me). I have a follow up with a neurologist next Monday anyway, so I figured I'd have another quick look over my clinical notes from said MRIs and my last few GP appointments online, and I've just spotted a note from my GP on one of the MRI reports saying "FND likely". Idk much about FND but just reading the typical symptoms and clinical signs online... it resonates hard. Obvs I'm going to wait to see what my neurologist thinks, but maybe all hope of a diagnosis that actually explains everything isn't totally lost?
unfortunately my nervous system can’t tell the difference between being suddenly abandoned and waiting for a text back.

Maybe spicy take depending on how many scalpers lurk on Tumblr: if you buy Pokémon TCG product and don't open it, you are not a Pokémon card collector, you are a Pokémon packaging collector.
It phinally arrived! 😍
I love Evanescence, but not enough to be paying $400+ for an allocated seat ticket.
FUCK ticketmaster, and FUCK dynamic pricing.
Like, HELLO???
Absolutely NOT
It continues to not MAKE SENSE
Might as well get the tour package at those prices???

Thank you to everyone who replied to or messaged me re. the post I made about whether or not it would be appropriate to push for follow up on the status of the mri that should have happened like a year ago. I saw my GP today who was appalled it hadn't happened, did some chasing, and discovered that despite the fact that my clinical notes had it in writing that I was being referred for an mri, the neurologist I saw never actually put said referral through. And so I've spent months with worsening symptoms, waiting for testing that would not have happened had I not been proactive about it. My GP is fuming, I'm fuming, and my family are fuming. My GP is now putting through an urgent referral himself so hopefully there will be some progress soon.
Also had a bunch more blood tests done, been diagnosed with PMDD, and have had two more medications added to my regular prescriptions. So it's been a day. 😴
Bullshit is what it is.
Asking someone you barely know what their disability is equatable to just coming up to someone and saying “hey what’s the most traumatic thing that’s ever happened to you?”
Able-bodied people assume most people with mobility aids ESPECIALLY wheelchairs, have been in some sort of traumatic accident, and yet y’all still come up to us asking.
Healthy people will never understand what a massive achievement it is to do your laundry AND cook yourself a meal in one day.
Something that really effs me up is how a large amount of society's "undesirable" adjectives are traits you can acquire due to disability.
