CELEDRIEL FAM WE ARE GOING TO BE EATING SO GOOD IN NOVEMBER.
So based on what we saw in the teaser trailer it looks like Galadriel will start haveing visions of Celeborn and he's imprisoned somewhere and she'll track him down and rescue him.
Can't belive they're already so Sun and Moon coded in the first teaser they gave us.

CELEBORN OF DORIATH
Delighted to share one of the two Celeborn commissions Iāve been working on this batch! The commissioner for this one wanted me to show him as young-ish, definitely whilst he was still living in Doriath, and I quote āthe kind of elf that would make a Noldo princessā jaw hit the floorā, and I was only too happy to oblige.
Anyway, if I was walking around in Lothlorien and this guy turns up and goes āwhere is Gandalf for I would much like to speak with himā, I would be telling him to hold on for five minutes, before hopping onto ebay and typing in āfake beardā, āpointy wizard hatā and āmorning after pillā.
commission info here: also just a quick announcement that once my remaining August slots fill out, Iāll be closing my queue for new orders until late November or early December, as Iāll be working on a couple of other projects later this year + am also getting m*rried in Sept. which is to say, get in quick if you want your hot elf drawn, etc etc. also another note since a couple of people have asked: if your bank doesnāt let you use kofi just hmu for my paypal.me link, i just donāt publicise it because it has my government name etc.
The Tattoo Postā¢ļø is so revealing of the current state of trans discourse online. Really itās quite a fascinating case study. Right from the jump we have the weirdly paternalistic framing that trans men should run tattoo ideas by their friends, insinuating that trans men innately have poor judgment. By singling out trans men as a demographic rather than just advising people get feedback on their tattoo ideas or stating that they think the tattoo in question is bad, OP implies that it is trans men specifically and no other demographic that deserve to be held to this level of scrutiny. And even if you stripped the weird gender wars bullshit away from the whole thing, there remains the fact that putting a stranger on blast over an innocuous tattoo is deeply weird and uhhh bullying? Just straight up middle school bully behavior? What the hell is wrong with you?
Anyway here are my favorite notes
Exhibit A: The very feminist take that people socially/medically/legally classed as female arenāt oppressed on the basis of being socially/medically/legally classed as female.
Exhibit B: Seeing a non-sexual image of a trans man and immediately thinking about him bottoming. Because sexually objectifying random people for no reason is, again, very feminist. š
Exhibiā okay I donāt have anything to say, Iām just enamored by this one. What does it even mean. What if a cis guy was a trans guy. What if the world was made of pudding. What if words meant nothing.

You support trans people? Great! Oh sorry you meant only white trans women you view as objects for sexual gratification while you ignore the existence of every other trans person including (especially) trans people of color ?
For the past few years, Jamie Campbell Bower has been in all-out villain mode ā asĀ Stranger Thingsā monstrous Vecna, he flayed minds, bodies and souls alike. But as he enters another mammoth streaming series, Bower is switching things up. Heās one of the new cast additions toĀ Season 3 ofĀ The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power, entering the Tolkien-verse in a role that has, until now, been kept tightly under wraps (and much rumoured-over by fans).Ā EmpireĀ can finally confirm Bowerās role: meet Celeborn, Elf lord and warrior.
And, notably, the husband of Morfydd Clarkās Galadriel. The character ā briefly portrayed inĀ Peter Jacksonās filmsĀ by Marton Csokas ā is something of a ālover-boyā, says Bower. The anti-Vecna, then. How they introduce Celeborn ā who canonically married Galadriel in the First Age, and inĀ TROPĀ has been apart from her for centuries ā remains to be seen. But their dynamic is partly inspired by Tolkien and his wife, Edith. āThis idea of longing and yearning is so pervasive in Tolkienās relationship with Edith for the time that they were apart,ā says Bower. āI really feasted on that idea. Celeborn has had to find a way to survive whilst longing for something that he so dearly loved and so dearly missed as well.ā And Clark was more than game to contribute to the pairās sparkling interplay. āSheās kind of rude to him in the books,ā she chuckles. āSheās the queen! But Jamie looks exactly like how I would imagine Celeborn. Heās such an Elf.ā
Showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay saw hundreds of tapes for Celeborn ā but even without Elf ears and the rest, it was clear that Bower had the stuff. āHe has this voice that is rich and hypnotic and sonorous that feels it has the wisdom of the ages buried inside of it,ā says Payne. āAnd then we did a chemistry read [with Clark], and instantly it just felt like he loved her so much. It felt so natural, and so organic, and so right.ā InĀ the age of Sauron, Middle-earth could use a few more lover-boys."
an endless cycle:
>"reddit snark communities are extremely misogynistic"
>"aren't those communities mainly made up of women though?"
information yet to be acquired: women can be misogynistic

After all this time, this feels so good.
Idk if the way I'm phrasing this makes sense, but this wave of people i see online saying that trans men are all eager to "misgender themselves" whatever the hell that means, just goes to show that cisperisex experiences with manhood are still seen as the default standard to the point where acknowledging that some men do not share those experiences must be dismissing their manhood in someway.
i hope everything works out in the end because i am so so scared
