hey i saw that post you deleted and i want to say, as a transfem, i dont think youre like. evil or anything. youre in a hard spot and dealing with feelings you clearly seem pretty conflicted about, and directing those frustrations towards whatever feels close and accessible. gender is weird and hard and most people, even most trans people i think, dont really have a great grasp on like, processing and understanding its nuances in the wider societal framework. being a Very GNC Man/Boy and being Transfem are not like… ultimately the Most different things in the world. whether you personally label yourself a girl or not, isn't immaterial, but it is only one factor in the way society treats people, and like, ultimately if you were assigned male at birth and are strongly breaking from the expectations there (whether you are transitioning or not! whether you still personally identify with maleness or not!) you are going to be facing a lot of the same transmisogyny as anyone else in that situation. and i think it's important we be here for eachother as people facing a lot of the same bullshit. im sorry if you feel alienated from the wider class of transmisogynized people, i think a lot of people are not great about including people who dont personally identify as girls/women in that category, as a nonbinary transfem i know how it can be to feel like youre being unfairly unaccounted for.

I just associate myself with ralsei since he's pretty much what taught me gender roles were bullshit and I was allowed to still be a man while liking feminine things, I had a whole trans phase back then that I honestly didn't feel comfortable with but I thought it was the only way to appease people since boys can't like girly things (blame my fuckass family for reinforcing gender roles so deeply on me when I was young)

Seeing the same thing that happened with me happen with ralsei (and everyone being smug about it and some people choosing to belive it just to piss people off) is just hurting on a personal level that I think I've been projecting to others

And while I still don't believe in transfem ralsei because of other reasons, I know its Toby's choice to make and most of my adversion to it is just me attaching myself to them too much

I guess I saw the scene where Ralsei wears the dress and says that she can be a Princess if that's what Kris wants as less than a "Ralsei wants to try new things — sometimes she's a princess, sometimes he's a prince, therefore they could be genderfluid" and more of a "the only way Ralsei could ever let herself be a Princess is if someone asked her to be one because she's too scared to want things for herself".
