Something that ticks me off a lot is when anti endos use ableist language to attack endos, and defend themselves by saying "you can't be ableist towards someone who isn't disabled."
Alright. Sure. Lets apply this logic to other things.
If you use a racial slur towards someone who is not of a different race, does that mean what you said is not racist?
If you use a homophobic slur against someone who isn't gay, does that what you said is not homophobic?
If you use a transphobic slur against someone who isn't trans, does that mean what you said is not transphobic?
No, it does not.
Racist language is still racist, even if the victim was not of a different race. Homophobic language is still homophobic, even if the victim was not gay. Transphobic language is still transphobic, even if the victim was not trans.
And ableist language is still ableist, even if it was used to attack someone who is not disabled. Meaning using ableist language towards endos is still ableist.
