What's your favorite Hazbin Hotel song and why?

This question is actually evil, I love the majority-

But it's probably between Loser Baby, Love In a Bottle, and Losin' Streak - live laugh love Keith David and Blake Roman, Keith is a staple of my childhood with "Coraline" and Blake's voice is truly heavenly

The Vees songs/parts are up there too - their voices blend so well

I also really like the "full cast"/group songs from S2 - Bad With Us, When I Think About The Future, and Hear My Hope - they're really cool and funky

How do you feel about Val’s humanization this season?

Mixed feelings.

Bad people still have those "people" things about them, I guess, so I like that they're fleshing him out to be more than solely an abuser - he's still a dick, still pissy, still doesn't see what's wrong in his actions, etc. but he's got a personality outside of just that role.

I can say it probably wasn't the best to in a way make us feel bad for him, but a lot of shitty people do act in ways to make others feel bad for them as a manipulation tactic to seem less capable or to make people feel bad for them to make themselves feel better, so there’s that I suppose.

But also in a fandom like this where there are people who are a little bit mad on siding with the abuser (the few posts on Val subreddits I've seen scare me), it's risky to give him extra sympathy points because people can and will grasp that and run with it, even if it's the wrong idea. That is something I've been trying to stay far away from-

Idk, I think he's obviously not perfectly written, but it could be worse in my opinion. I think either way he's not even a fully fleshed out character after this season anyway, since 9 times out of 10 we just got him reacting to something Vox did. I'm interested in how he plays a part next season - I think either way it'll help me form a more solid opinion on how they're portraying him

When did you first get into the Hellaverse.

I got into hellaverse a little while after Hazbin season 1 dropped - my friend, who'd been in the fandom for much longer, introduced me to it as a potential "writing"/RP source and I fully hyper-fixated on it immediately, my entire spotify wrapped last year was the hazbin soundtrack lol. I believe I started watching Helluva very soon after? I was definitely watching in time with releases from "full moon", again at the hands of the same friend suggesting it!

Do you think Katty Killjoy would make a funny overlord?

I think she would, but not long term. I like her character a lot, but she gets old fast, and I fear I couldn't manage her becoming any more forward than she already is 😔

Also she'd probably launch an attack on the gays, so uhm-

and you have to assume it’s, in part, because he himself is also an overlord. cherri has no qualms because shes not an overlord, has done this before, and knows its for the best, but he loves angel so much and he knows him being an overlord is something that can very easily turn nasty if he enacts power over him because of it.

“why would you do that?” in the most worried voice ever, he literally looks so devastated and nervous about what angels gonna think if he finds out they’re quite literally kidnapping him

he really and truly thought they would be able to talk him down, and maybe they couldve if they weren’t trying to sneak him out of the vee tower and on a time crunch

for all of this to come to a head with husk punching angel in the face when that is the last thing he ever wanted to do??? horrifying.

and for a moment, during hear my hope, you can see how relieved he is that angel is not angry with him or scared of him and is happy to be around him again

that makes this scene even MORE devastating. husk thought everything was fine now. he was just so damn happy and relieved angel wasnt scared of him and was ready to follow angel wherever he wanted to go.
