I made this stupid moldy Mario looking Dante Hicks plush so I could turn him into a keychain and carry him around on my lanyard. He’s so stupid looking but I love him so much. Im gonna sew him some more outfits later

FUN CLERKS FACT: In the animated series, Kevin Smith originally put several long makeout scenes between Randal and Dante, but had to cut them due to the censors. Most of those scenes are now lost media, but I have recovered one of them for you lovely tumblr folks.

Ok yesterday when I said “I like to imagine this scene in clerks 3 is a parallel to the one in clerks 2”. Holy crap I might actually be on to something. (Not saying it was 100% percent intentional but come ON.)

They both have shots slowly panning into Dante to show his expression and then cutting back to Becky / Randal. They are also both in similar parts of the movies structure, about 1 hour in, in the bit where everything seems like it’s going perfectly right before things start going bad again. 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐 yaoi real!?

I like to think about this scene as a parallel of the Clerks 2 scene where he’s looking at Becky dancing and it’s like that’s the exact moment he know he was in love with her.
