It is with so much love in my heart for this production, fuelled by so much caffeine, that I present English subtitles for Musical Touken Ranbu: Sanki Shutsujin Happyakuyacho Hizakurige.

To everyone who has contributed and encouraged me in this process, thank you. Thank you for indulging in my late night ramblings, whether about the history or the script or Yama-san's beautiful face. Thank you for helping me bring a play that encapsulates so poignantly what it means to be an artist to a wider audience.

Sanki means something to me that I can’t properly express in an announcement post, but I am going to hope that the work I put into my first subtitling project shows. And I say this on everything I write: everyone please love your Manbas. And your Kane-sans. And your Horikawas.
