Grand Opening!

Introducing our Alishan Zhu Lu.
Meaning dew drop, Zhu Lu refers to oolong teas originating from a small growing region near the township of Zhuqi on Alishan. The tea growing area is no more than 600 acres. But the region's reputation extends far beyond its physical borders.
Only tea produced in this region is allowed to carry the Zhu Lu designation.
In a market crowded with generic Alishan oolongs, many of which do not even come from the mountain, we are proud to introduce an oolong with a true appellation.
Everyone deserves an oolong flecked with gold.
Introducing our Yellow Petal Guanyin. A Song Tea creation inspired by our love of traditional tieguanyins and by a chance encounter with a tea grower experimenting with new cultivars.
This is our attempt to create something original and different - a tea that no one has ever tasted before.
This is our new Qing Mu Dan. A green crafted from a new cultivar called Huang Mu Dan or "Yellow Peony". This is the first year of full commercial production of this tea in China. It is rare by any standard even in its country of origin.
It takes a visionary to build a wholly organic tea garden around a new cultivar, and to continue investing in that garden through the five years it takes for the tea plant to mature. We like working with visionaries.
It's hard to believe something this gorgeous is a product of earth and fire. Introducing our Flare Cup from ceramicist Liao Guo Hua. Each hand shaped, unglazed cup was wood fired over the course of three days, then re-fired several months later.
The result is a highly reflective sheen that captures and plays with light. A brilliant kaleidoscope of gold tones.
Song Tea & Ceramics will be releasing a small selection of Liao Guo Hua's pieces when we launch in late August.
