Forrrrrrrrrrrrr American Dragon: Jake Long

I thought it would be fun to start sharing headcanons for fandoms I'm in

Jake Headcanons

He tends to neglect taking care of his dragon scales since he only turns into a dragon when fighting magic or the Huntsclan (Due to Nigel commenting about his scales in the episode Supernatural Tuesday)

Jake barely has any magical friends due to magical folk being busier and that he is the American Dragon

Jake became cold-blooded once his dragon powers came, so he hates the cold a lot

He has lots of scars all over his dragon body that don't appear on his human one

Trixie Headcanons

She is an only child, and she has lots of aunts and uncles who don't have any children(yet), so they'll spoil her when they visit, but she doesn't let that get into her head.

She starts getting into potion making so she can help out Jake a bit more

She enjoys watching a lot of trashy romance TV shows and movies with her dad and sometimes with Spud

She's the main one of the friend group making plans and going out to places

She's her grandparents' granddaughter

Spud Headcanons

He makes a lot of promotional posters for his mothers reasturant

He's a mama's boy

He has multiple siblings and is the middle child

Rose Headcanons

She and Trixie hang out a lot when they don't want to deal with the boys, and sometimes bring Haley along

She and her family moved back to NY 2 years later after the last episode

She has a twin brother

She babysits Haley

She and her twin brother look a lot alike, so sometimes they switch places to mess with people

She is on the girls' soccer team

She sometimes has nightmares about the Huntsclan and calls Jake or her twin brother to fall back to sleep

Nigel Headcanons

I'll be fr he is my fav character

He has two siblings, and he is the youngest

He is the only one who inherited his mother's hair color

Griffin Rock Shenanigans

For those who've been writing fics for the Rescue Bots... How the frag do you come up with on-brand Griffin Rock shenanigans that feel like they could fit into the show!? I have too many WIPs, but the thing that's been stumping me on most of them is figuring out what crazy crisis of the day the Bots and Burnses have to resolve. How do you all come up with ideas that fit within Griffin Rock's brand of typical chaos? It feels like the sky is the limit. But at the same time, I don't want anything I come up with to feel like a carbon copy of any of the episodes of the show or like a cheap rip-off. What are your strategies?

- Any type of new tech must glitch or turn evil at some point

- Mayor has to have some kinda problem that he doesn't fix at all , busted pipes, lind fills, unsafe structures

- Ancient Cybertron stuff that sounds cool and the occasional cybertronian history lesson

- Some references to other shows/movies, like in the episode where the boys were describing different alien movies

- Silly on brand things to keep coming up, like Danny bad cooking for example

- Some cybertronian traditions

- Call backs to Quickshadow randomly coming up and Blurr & Salvage

These are just off the top of my head for whenever I write my own fanfics when I have free time

Mostly like cat calling, unwanted attention, creepy fans, uncomfortable situations, etc

And it's just Guy seeing things from a different perspective that he never thought of before and how hard being a women is
