I’m so sorry.
Well I enjoyed the journey, but this is my stop.
I’m leaving this blog and the #runescape community. I’ve seen this coming for quite a while now. I’ve been pretty inactive recently, so it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise for anyone who’s noticed.
(slight, but not ridiculous wall of text)
I love u tag daddy
projectzero and ragingblurzy
Doin’ is no more.
No, but seriously similar feels and best of luck with everything Blur, you’ve been a big part of the tag as long as I can remember, first and second time round I was here, it’s been good.
Recently completed the Gu outfit, weird looking stuff, the top fits with a few things though.
Also, today’s changes mean Batwing is now Tier 30 and Mystic is Tier 50... however, the Wand/Orb/Shields of both sets kinda missed the memo.
Also, TL;DR Acheron Mammoth Guide:
Mage them, keep running, if a bar appears above one, stun it. Honestly as simple as that. If you keep moving, you’ll take 0 damage.
At first I was like... Another Ahrim’s Hood? Ok...
Then I was like
Double Chest on my 45th. I still need to actually get round to finishing up my pure on OSRS, training magic is zz
why mele if theyre weak to mage? is darklight that good against them?
Darklight is pretty strong against them, was doing a little bit of extra testing of Darklight vs. them and it really helps if you’ve finished Dimension of Disaster and bought the upgrade to Darklight. Boosts damage by about 15-20% vs. Demons with that upgrade. Also Darklight’s passive effect, ignores all weaknesses of demons you are fighting, so it gets no accuracy debuff
So, Ripper Demons? Powerful Slashers of Fear or just kittens who need taming, gonna write another tl;dr guide for them because I feel a lot of people really don’t like them because of the damage/mechanics involved with them.
TL;DR: Ripper Demon Edition
Gear: Tank + Lifesteal + Melee (Darklight) Effectively doable without food in this setup, you heal so damn much. Throw in Excalibur too every 5 minutes and HP shouldn’t be a problem.
Mechanics: Pray Melee, Devotion as often as possible. When the bar above the Ripper Demon fills up, they may jump into the air. If they do, move 1 or 2 steps east, as the Shadow Dot (THIS WILL ONE HIT YOU) appears west of your where you are. Using Bleeds, trigger the lifesteal effects more frequently. Keep hp above 50% and move away the moment you kill them (Just start fighting another one and pick up the first drop when you kill the 2nd, repeat).
Oh and only try to run away from them when they jump, if they blink to you, they will Slaughter you, so be prepared to Freedom the bleed.
Drops are pretty good and likely to retain value, also the Charm rate is absurdly good from these once you get a good kill speed up.

Basic and Advanced Raptor outfits, for those who are curious Basic: Complete 15 Raptor Assignments Advanced: + kill 30 of each of the new monsters, it will require more kills each day to keep it worn. Also, tl;dr Camel Warrior Guide: Range them, Pray Magic - Nex/Tank/T90 Power Tag, hit a few times Mirage Phase: Kill Shadow (Threshold) > Blood > Smoke Devotion good to use on Mirage Phase because the mirage kills extend the Devotion timer
Avoid the Sandstorm attacks, damage doubles each second you stand within them.
40-50s a kill, similar to Glacors, loot very noice
While playing, What is ......
The Most stupidest thing you have ever done?
The most annoying thing that has happened to you?
The most scariest thing that has happened to you?
The most luckiest thing?
Your biggest achievement?
Stupid stuff: Logging in for the first time, dropping my cash stack to check the alch price of something, only to get a random event and lose my cash.
Annoying things: Logging in for the first time, disconnects costing me time/money, thinking I was capable of running a clan by myself when I wasn’t.
Scary things: Staking/First time at a lot of bosses/First 3-4 Fire Cape attempts
Lucky Things: Lootshare a Divine Sigil on a Keep Team when it was 760m, staking against a guy who wanted to do Summon Boxing but he forgot scrolls.
Biggest Achievements: Maxed/Comped/Seeing things i’d reported that needed fixing being fixed.
Last night
I was a part of one of (to my knowledge) the biggest stakes in RS history.
We both wagered 100 billion GP (5 phat sets + 800m shards), it was a polypore stake in legacy mode.
Unfortunately I didn’t win, but I’m still glad I did it because as lame as it sounds, it was one of the biggest adrenaline rushes I’ve ever had.
Massive congrats to JP for the win.
My bank currently stands at around 17B, but I’m not phased at all. The past week has been insane, and I’m very fortunate to win what I did - it’s helped me bank my Max Cape, give my friends presents and most importantly I’ve had more fun playing RuneScape than ever.
Here’s to the future, it’s going to be awesome. 😁
I never understood, when you get to 100b bank, what makes you keep staking, you can already buy anything and everything you could ever want, why would you continue? I mean, don’t take this as a hate post, i’m just trying to understand the mentality that keeps you wanting to stake for more when you’ve got that much o_o
Basically, I really enjoy the process. It’s awesome seeing the numbers rise and fall, staking gives me a feeling that I can’t really get from PvM, I’m not very good at bossing and aside from @zodiac-rs’s awesome amounts of patience teaching me KK, I don’t have many friends on RS who are willing to spend the time teaching me to kill bosses. On a darker note, I struggle a little bit with IRL gambling problems. Doing it on a game with virtual currency means that I can channel those urges into something which doesn’t hurt me financially. Granted, 200B would have been far too much to do anything with, but it’s not really about the amount for me. In a way, when I was winning a lot, I felt like people were treating me a little different. It didn’t feel like they were hungry for GP (which many undoubtedly were) but instead felt like I was a bit more respected by the people I talk to in-game. Stakers are always painted in a bad light, and because I was getting a little more attention than usual it made me feel like I was showing people that we’re not all bad. I’ve been quite generous with a lot of my winnings, I’ve given about 5b out this week just because I wanted to do something for the people who make my time on RS fun. (Would have given to the Well of Good Will too but it’s not open at present) This probably hasn’t really given anyone an insight into my outlook on things, but it’s hard to put into words my motivation behind it. Thanks for being tentative with the reblog Sonic, it’s nice to see people not just instantly criticising me. 😄
As an ex-staker, long ago now, I can kinda relate to some of it I guess, definitely painted in a bad light. Fair enough though, just riding the wave for fun, but it’s very binary in terms of feeling, wins feel amazing, losses feel shitty, looking for the highs keep you going back. I broke the chain by teaching myself PvM one time after I got cleaned. Refused help/donations from anyone and just did what I could, with what I had. That said, I wouldn’t mind 200b either, can definitely dye a few things...

OSRS: Recipe for Disaster done, transferred a bit of money over too, because it’s sitting on RS3 doing nothing right now, so might as well have some fun with it, bought a few useful things, should propel the account along a bit. Hopefully Fire Cape soon...
RS3: Random virtual levels, actually really liking the virtual level pop ups, it’s quite motivating to have smaller goals to work towards on the way to the bigger ones, the level up bubbles are just pretty cool tbh. Mostly don’t expect them though, so often make me go.. what the hell was that...

Recent Things i’ve been up to:
RS3: Slowly woodcutting when I need to AFK stuff, slowly working towards 120 Woodcutting. Still doing Elites and getting weird rewards like this one... (No unique item?)
OSRS: Mostly questing and skilling a bit, still working on finishing up my Zerker Pure, nearly got 75 Range, so gonna get a Blowpipe and smash through Fight Caves to get my Fire Cape. Need to get a Torso too at some point...
Other: Life, yeah, all good, League, finally got Gold V, for the end of season rewards, will probably try a bit harder in Ranked next year, see where I end up.
