the metronome is a harsh mistress

an alternative band based in Cape Town and are influenced by the 90's alternative scene. The band produces a somewhat progressive alternative sound with subtle and hypnotic guitar riffs and distorted, melodic basslines. This together with distinctive vocals and an energetic drummer (DRUM SOOOOOLO!!!!!) produces a unique sound that has been compared to bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Warpaint (really?
