Good afternoon. I was wondering if some of you could do me a favor.
As some of you (my followers) may know, Lance (my boyfriend / hisspers/ the-voice-of-nightvale / misotheic-mercenary) was involved in a horrible hiking accident last night and didn’t survive.
I was wondering if some of you could do me a favor. At 6 o’clock tonight (PST), I plan on lighting a purple candle in his remembrance; purple is his favorite color. It would really mean a lot if at least someone else did this with me. I’m trying to stay strong but it’s becoming incredibly difficult.
Don’t just do this for me. Do this for him, his family, and his friends.

Please, for friends, family and loved ones, lets all do this. I only have like, lavender whatever candles not the fancy out of jar ones, but I’ll be doing it and I hope all of you will too. A thought, a moment for Lance, his friends, his family, and his followers in the community.

I don’t have anything to burn at all but…Wow. Holy fuck. I don’t know. I’ll put on my purple hoodie for him.
I didn’t know Lance long, and we had a few struggles, but for awhile he was part of what made the Welcome To Night Vale fandom fun for me. He helped me through some difficult drama in there, and he was helping me with some problems in my real life just like god two, three fucking days ago.
I’m so sorry Lance.
