Hey! I'm a big fan of your work and was wondering if you have an ETA for the next installment of To an Athlete Dying Young?

Thinking about releasing a lil preview, but the problem is that I have this story constructed right down to the author's notes for each chapter. So I fear my little funnies will not land with the same hilarious impact if I release it chapter by chapter: and I am a vain, villainous creature that also can't wait to drop this trick or treat while you don't expect it.

Everything is sketched out, she is just a king (queen?) sized chocolate bar with almonds like razor blades (or maybe the other way around...). Current estimate is 1/4 complete, but don't let that be an estimate of time, since I've scratched a lot of scenes (the doc is like 300 pages single spaced! Google docs maxes out at like 500 for me) for a clearer way forward.

Also, people need to quit writing such good fanfiction, because my time writing for Ao3 competes with my reading Ao3 and take a guess at which one normally wins (why yes of course I should reread this 500,000+ remus lupin fic, I'm not even in the Harry Potter fandom, it'll just be a casual read, one chap to entertain myself on the 20 seconds I'm on an elevator...)

I am guilt ridden, but in the name of honesty: no, I don't know too much about her. Just little tidbits from fics (actually currently reading Dizzy Edges by Jojo-Squires, and Helena shows up!) I saw her a bit in the comics (like, the first random ebay haul I got) but I had no idea who she was. I think Tim protested that she wasn't a killer? Outside thoughts welcome. Please, I am open to broadening my horizons (broader horizon = more fanfic available)
