Hellllooo, i haven't watched the ep yet, but maybe claudia will be one of the puzzle pieces, bc if we assume that she is just a shade, she is actually dead, and maybe they can find evidence that she IS (like a hospital file, or her grave). Bc by logic the only things that should be missing is what makes people remember stiles, so nothing about Claudia's death should disappear bc it isn't directly linked, what do you think ?
See that would depend on your definition of directly linked. Stiles was there when his mother died. He witness it.
And just as I wrote that down I was hit by sudden inspiration. Quantum superposition has been mentioned multiple times already in the first two episodes and if you’ve been paying attention you now know how this relates to schrodinger’s cat. The cat being both alive and dead until the box was opened/ Light being both a partial and a wave until it is observed.
With that in mind it struck me suddenly that Claudia’s death was observed by Stiles. We know from the Sheriff telling us in an earlier season that Stiles was in the room when Claudia passed away. He saw the whole thing. So. What happens when you take the observer out of that situation.
For a moment stop thinking logically because your brain is going to instantly jump to well she’d have died anyway. Stop thinking about how things would naturally progress because we’re working on a supernatural level here and natural progression isn’t relative. Think of it in the same way as we learn about Schrodinger’s cat. Claudia Stilinski died ten years prior in the teen wolf time line but that event as we know it no longer happened. Her death was not observed.
This was a key moment in the Sheriff’s life and in Stiles’ life.
So the Ghost Riders yank Stiles out of existence and the ripples are reaching back through time to try and right themselves.
They reach this powerful point of emotion and the universe is knows Stiles Stilinski is meant to witness Claudia’s death. That’s just how it’s suppose to go. So when Stiles is gone the event can no longer happen the way it is suppose to.
To cut down my crazy theory:
Claudia is Schrodinger’s cat. Both alive and dead until observed, by Stiles.

Maybe students would be separated too in fact? Not in houses, and not for the first years, but depending on their speciality during the 3 last ones? Like for our S/L/ES system? I know it’s not a very good system, but honestly it would be more accurate…

Hogwarts is the equivalent of collège and lycée, so maybe the students wouldn’t be separated right away? Like after the equivalent of OWLs the students meet with their main teacher for a conversation about course choice (// Harry and McGonagall at the beginning of OotP) and try to sort their priorities.
Some classes remain mandatory all the way through, though, like Muggle Studies. Every subject involving muggle culture is taught by Muggle parents of wizard children, who know that magic exists anyway so no need for memory charms, and can provide insiders’ insights instead of second-hand knowledge - which also helps stop the spread of stereotypes.

L learn different magic language (unless japanese wizzard also use dog latin…), runes, more history in a best level. They all speak latin perfeclty outside of the magic (even if they hate latin class). and they learn how to find new word for new Charm.
so they look super serious and cultivated, but they are generally only god of french/magic puns, and nothing else.
the S are super good with potion, botanic, and knowledge fantastic beasts. plus some can try to study the energy used behind magic. there is an equivalent of CERN, but for wizard, and they study the result. but they generally don’t understand anything because it’s way too complicated for high schoolers.
but they are generally nerds using their magic to screw up with computers programs.
the ES are the ones who learn about different magic rules in different country, how to exchange with muggle without reveal magic, how to manipulate muggles government. and generally a bit of everything.
So they are the ones making politics magic meme.
and it’s like classic L/S/ES: they act as if they hate each others guts.
and for the uniform: one time they came across hogwarts student who mocked them because they didn’t have uniform. so they made some they only wear if they are with student of a schools asking for uniform.
and because it’s not actually a beauxbâtons uniform, they can change them when they with the uniform. beautiful, cliché, it just depends of the students moods.
and piss of some teachers, and others have been the ones inventing the said uniform, so they silently approve it.

Dear Fellow White People
Stop fucking complaining about being blamed. Have you looked at the election statistics? This is our fault. White entitlement culture is entirely at blame here. And no, I’m not just talking about conservative white entitlement. I’m talking about liberal white entitlement too. That entitlement that caused people who were vehemently opposed to Trump to stay home because they claimed Clinton would win anyway, but in reality because voting was too inconvenient for them and it wouldn’t really be the end of the world for them if Trump won.
And it isn’t. The end of my ideals about this country? Sure. The end of positive advances for women and sexual health? Possibly. But I still get to walk down the street and feel moderately safe.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR NON-WHITE PEOPLE. They are terrified right now. People are literally targeting them already just based on their appearances.
I’m not saying this to scare anyone. I’m saying it to ask people to be aware. The best thing you can do right now is protect other people. The bystander effect is a very real and scary thing. Racist attacks (and prejudiced attacks of any kind, but we’re gonna focus on race here because that’s what the Trump supporters are going after the most right now) happen and people witness and do nothing about it.
So keep your eyes open. Protect people. Here is link to a lovely illustrated guide about what to do if you see someone getting harassed. The summary is that you should go over to the person getting harassed and, completely ignoring the harasser, engage in conversation with the person getting harassed. Pretend the harasser is not there. It will make them feel small and weak, exactly as they were trying to make the person they were harassing feel, without escalating the situation further.
And for those of you who didn’t vote but were eligible to, please please please take what you’re feeling right now and remember it in two years’ time. Look at all the angry and horrified people around you and engrave it into your memory. If you are someone who cares about this country and does not want to see it burn in hell, then you have the obligation to vote. Because the worst absolutely can happen. It did happen.
All we can do is protect each other now. And allow people to mourn. They have that right, and don’t you dare take that away from them.
