school photos

My school photo came out today.

A couple weeks ago almost all of the grade was getting ready in a crammed bathroom, doing hair, sharing makeup, screaming at each other “you look beautiful,” hyping everyone up before their photo. I think like 10 people used my lipliner lol anyways. At my school, the goal is to look the best u can without catfishing yk? Anyways I had my hair half up half down (something our uniform policy FINALLY allowed) just like 90 other girls. I stressed over my face, practicing my smile for like forty minutes in class before we were called to the hall for the photos

aaand it was all for shitttt THEY DID US ALL DIRTY WITH SOME CLAPPED ASS FILTER WTF it’s still wayyy better than my last years photos tho I lowk cooked this one to the extent I could but wtffff at least I knew not to smile with teeth tho goodness gracious i was lowk smirking tho ughhhh oh well we’ll get em next year

stardew valley

i breathe stardew valley. i have been playing it since one snowy christmas in seattle years ago when me and my cousin stole my grandfathers ipad and, with the help of my dad, downloaded the app so generously made by 'concerned ape'. although my cousin grew bored of farm life, i went on to accumulate many many hours of gameplay (a lot of which spent playing junimo kart over covid) over many many farms on many many devices like ipads, switches and laptops. sometime around june last year, i convinced my best friend, @mayamwh, to get into it and together we birthed the our beloved child: ACORN FARM. i had only ever shared a farm w my dad so having maya there was a pleasant change (no hate to my dad ofc). we built our farm up from nothing, now being on year three in summer with many achievements, a lot of money, resources, buildings, a beautiful farm and animals, and the perfect in game life. Personally, i find work around the farm tedious and prefer to go our and mine or fish. Maya however loves the farm and is eager to make it look amazing and functional. together we make the perfect team and even got lavendar married for the shits and gigs. also we were sick of interacting with the npcs. its genuinely been the biggest piss while also being sentimental and sososososo fun to just play when were sick of doing hw. literally why cant life be like stardew valley we have no worries, a lot of money and a lot of fun like wtffffff also amazing soundtrack stardew valley sponsor me

french is cool

im learning french rn i have been learning french for a few years (i was previously learning german for like ten years but the grammar bruh) and i realised french is sososo luv but also whys it so nasal they always sound either sick or like theres something in their throats. whenever im listening to my french listening excerises in class i always feel like i have something stuck in my throat bc the french speakers always sound like there's like a thick fudge brownie lodged in their esophagus. but its also extremely satisfying to listen to so i aspire to be a fluent bilingual girlie. also also the grammar all makes sense and its made me realise that english might be the dumbest language in all existence. theres so many ways to say one thing theres so many ways to pronounce letters and things and its just like horrors everytime i think of people who have to learn it bc omg there is no logic you just have to know things ig anyways.
