From the day she was born, Sophie had a built-in best friend. Her twin sister Serena, born mere minutes before her, had been her favorite person since day one. Joining big brother Scott, Sophie (and Serena) had been born to two parents, Christopher and Ella May.
A mother who adored them and a father who resented them. Twin girls hadn't exactly been what Christopher wanted and both Sophie and her sister had been aware of that from a young age. Books and school had been an escape for Sophie (alongside her sister), as she loved reading and learning from a young age.
Her favorite subjects in school being math and history, joining different clubs in school to avoid going home. When it came time for college, her biggest challenge would be leaving her mother and sister back in LA. Thankfully she knew her brother would be okay, out on his own and out of the house. But leaving her mom and Serena was the hardest thing she ever had to do.
Getting to college in Colorado, she quickly settled in, declaring her major by the second week. She liked to be able to solve a problem with a company. Budgeting and personnel and staffing issues, all based back upon her love of math and now sociology. By sophomore year, she met Rio. A man, the complete opposite of her who intrigued her.
A friendship formed which then turned into late nights together and eventually she fell hard for him. After graduation, Sophie (and Rio) opted to stay in Colorado, though she'd frequent trips back home to visit her family. Rio became her rock and in 2021 they got married.
She never touched her trust fund money, opting to build up her own portfolio and bank account. She rose through the ranks and became an operations manager at work.
Moving to Kismet in 2025, she joined her mom who had already set up a life there after the divorce. Sophie and Rio now own their own home in town, and foster dogs, along with two dogs of their own.
