Fic idea: all them girlies clueless af. Aint none of them on the same page.
Zoey thinks they’re dating. Mira thinks they’re married, and Rumi doesn’t know they were together at all.
Im just imagining the girls agreeing to go public, and Rumi has no clue what they’re talking about, but if they have something they want to get off their chest, Rumi wants them to.
So during their next live interview, they decide to go public. They’re interviewed separately for some reason idrc to think about yet. Maybe like a huntr/x anniversary interview or smth
Question: “So, you’ve been a part of Huntr/x for X years. Is there anything you’d like to say about your fellow idols?”
Mira: “Both Rumi and Zoey mean the world to me. After all this time, I don’t think I could live without my wives.”
Mira smirks while responding, making direct eye contact with the camera.
Zoey: “My girls are soooo amazing! I’ve loved every second that I’ve worked with them!! Even now- every second without my girlfriends is torture!!!”
Zoey’s cheeks are a rosey pink. Her smile is sheepish, but genuine.
Rumi: “Wow- there’s really too much to say about them… well I guess… I knew from the beginning that they would end up being the most important people in my life. I think over the years we’ve really intertwined our lives together. The girls are my best friends, and there’s no-one I trust more than them. With my girls-“
Rumi goes on to gush for another 5 minutes about Mira and Zoey. Her hands are clasped together, as she has the wistful look on her face.
They all have a long talk after the interview
Zoey: “what do you mean you thought we were married? Isn’t that like… illegal everywhere??”
Mira: “I thought this was a fuck it we ball situation! I thought we all collectively agreed about this! We literally all have rings! You got down on one knee to give them to us!”
Zoey: “They were promise rings! And anyway- if it was a wedding ring, you’re supposed to wear it on your left hand-“
Mira: “And you… how did you not know we were together at all???”
Rumi: “I thought we were just really good friends…”
Mira: “You literally always flirt with us.”
Rumi: “Only because you guys do too! You’re my only reference for interacting with other people other than Celine!!”
Zoey: “We’ve literally kissed before!! Several times!!”
Rumi: “ I thought we were being friendly!!!”
