My final piece to apply for a scholarship for Lauren Hom’s Passion to Paid class! I animated the colors and did some overall color-correcting since the last post. Fingers crossed that I’ll get the scholarship!

I put this gif together to somewhat show my process, but mostly to demonstrate how I constructed this lettering piece overall. Actual progress looks quite a bit messier and uncertain than it appears here!
I made a gif of my Advanced Typography class’s graffiti walls. If you haven’t seen my previous posts on it, we took inspiration from professional street artists and created our own variations on the word ‘flesh’. Pretty neat stuff.
My final poster for the extinction rebellion! Hopefully it makes you want to get out there and fight for our environmental rights.
My final photos for my ICMAD packaging project, based around the fictional company Nocturne. I have put more hours into this project than any singular project in my life, which feels both satisfying and exhausting at the same time. Ultimately I’m proud of what I’ve done here, and I know that I gave it my all. Now I can move on to the next big project!

My Wild Eyed typeface is done! Feel free to download & use but don’t market it as your own or modify it please.
Check out my next post for the download link for my new font. It’s not perfect but I’m thrilled that it’s fully ‘complete’ and functional.
I systematically went through my font, with help from Kernkraft, to make kerning pairs so that everything works as it should. I may have gone a little overboard, with 1,381 kerning pairs, but it feels worth it. I listened to the Glass Animals while doing so (good thing they have a lot of music!) so that’s what I set this to. Here is a little bit of the time I spent with the lower case f.
I had a lot of fun creating my auxiliary product for my fake brand Nocturne at the Candle Kitchen in downtown GJ. It was great to be able to mix the actual essential oils that I had envisioned for my shower oil as well as this candle. I’ll definitely be actually using the second one that I made for myself!
This is a time lapse of me painting my last bottle cap with glitter for ICMAD. It was a weird, imperfect process but I still think it’s pretty cool.
I invented the process for covering the cap and bottom of my bottle for ICMAD in glitter, which is to mix the glitter with glossy paint varnish and then paint it on with a foam brush while it’s propped up on another foam brush in a cup...knowing all of that, it’s crazy that it looks as nice as it does, right?
I created this bag as fake ‘swag’ for my ICMAD project. Before I created the files for my cricut to cut the heat transfer vinyl, I made sure the measurements looked right on the bag. It’s fun to see ideas like this become realities!
These are the heat-transfer vinyl pieces of my wordmark for Nocturne right after my cricut cut them. The reveal was too good not to share. I love how shiny this rose gold is!
This is the first digital draft of my extinction rebellion poster. I’m pretty happy with the background textures at least.
Some thumbnails for my extinction rebellion poster. My professor approved the fist with the handcuffs that incorporates their logo.
It feels so good to have this font done in vector. 123 glyphs! (plus the space) I also decided to name it Wild Eyed.
I have a complicated relationship with the typeface I’m making right now but I felt like this 3 was pretty solid.
