Forgiveness In this assignment we were to analyze the meaning of forgiveness and it means to let go completely of the other party. In application to this assignment and dealing with materialsI chose wax and water because one helps sustain in flame in a candle and the other smothers a flame. Within that example, themes of death, life and sustenance is present. An icon for life and death in everyday life is blood. Hence why I chose red (although it is blue until it hits air). The form represents water and a flame in the sense of a drop rippling in a body of water and the spontaneity of a flame. Water, wax, a flame, life, sustenance and death. All in one.

best way to spend time folding paper is to watch the guys who love paper so much
fifty abstract paper sculptures infographic poster
Three things learned through this project: 1. A lot of paper was wasted in the making of this project. However, I gained a little interest in this world’s wastefulness and resources. 2. There are too many ways to categorize, yet not enough ways to categorize these pieces of paper. But once you can categorize crumples of paper, you can organize anything. 3. Patience is a virtue.

I was searching for a go-to playlist without the efforts of creating one myself. One for when I am designing or having people over. These two seemed the most suitable, maybe you will like them also. Some audio for you guys:

rock, scissors
Hey guys, I’m excited to mention, that I’m roughly at the midpoint in this paper sculpture process [press this button]. What has been most challenging is achieving a sturdy sculpture; one that doesn’t fall apart after it’s creation. Paper is way too flimsy and I’m trying to refrain from tapping into my origami knowledge (none). At some points, I have added water- which helped add weight momentarily and found triangles to be the strongest form to use. For the second half of these sculptures, I will try to form them around sturdy objects like a rock, but keep it abstract of course. I will also start using scissors, because a clean cut would be a lot more effective than ripping. Speaking of ripping paper, I have found what my info graph will be about [horn again]— moods whilst creation; love, anger, frustration, happiness, etc.
One of my peers mentioned how much paper was being wasted amongst a whole class for this assignment and it was nothing I had even thought about. So I made sure to buy paper that had the WWF logo, a recycle logo and the word “Earth” on it. Without reading details, I felt like that was earth-friendly...and it was on sale. Unless they do that with all paper packaging, like cigarettes— maybe I’m being cautioned to use this paper wisely or not to use it whatsoever.
Oh well, Thanks for reading!
PS. If you have any suggestions, as to ways around using too much paper to help out environment. May you please leave your suggestions below?
