“Yeah su-” She paused momentarily to think over the voice she just heard. That wasn’t Celebi’s voice- it was too manly. She felt a bit panicked to know that someone else was in their home- let alone someone she didn’t quite recognize. 

She looked around the corner to see that it was in fact a man, and panicked even further regarding the situation. “H-Hey! Who are you and why are you in our house–?! Where is mom?!”

The poor bun couldn’t help but feel panicked that someone she supposed she didn’t know was in their home- with the fear that she had since she was a young girl that it was a GCR agent that had hurt Celebi and came for her next.

Celebi might have started mentally facepalming at the sight of Spatrius’s panic. Of course, the Space Guardian was completely unaware of what had happened, and given the people that were after her, it was no surprise that she assumed the worst case scenario. Time to clear things up, it seemed.

“Please calm down. I need you to be able to hear what I’m about to explain, and you can’t do that if you’re panicked. I’m still the same dragon that adopted you, just… under the effects of a temporary curse.

I’m not a member of the GCR, and if you need me to prove it to you, then I’ll recite the entire prayer my mother used to perform from beginning to end, and even backwards if you want me to. Or I could just tell you that I saw featherbrain in the city today and decided to have a bit of fun with him.”

Spatrius was almost unconvinced, before she heard ‘featherbrain’. A sigh of relief had been released from the small woman who held a hand to her head. “I see.. Sorry for suddenly freaking out mom---- o-or dad..” 

Well, that was a difficult thing for debate. Calling him mom still, or calling him dad for the time he’s a man. “So one of these curse things happened again... They’re very strange, you know that? I should really look into them further once I finish a few more projects..... and get access to my chemistry lab again.” 

She scratched her cheek. “Anyways- I guess you can explain to me any small details in a moment. I’ll go get those things you wanted from the garden.” Well, at least she put trust in him quickly, due to how he acted, he acted practically identical to Celebi. There was no way it couldn’t be her.
