in august 2021, i went on the ao3 stevetony tag, filtered it to my liking, left it to sort by date updated, and began going through the summaries and tags of each fic, page by page, to read and reread the fics that caught my attention.

about two weeks ago, i finally reached the last page, 1532, and my ao3 history is now just hundreds of pages of various stories about these two idiots falling in (and sometimes out of) love.

what i’m trying to say is, well. there are a LOT of really damn good stevetony fics out there, and i think i’m gonna start putting together rec lists.

summary: They say that whole life is a process of learning and while Tony is all up for gaining knowledge, he didn’t expect to get lectured in the middle of the night.

a/n: I didn’t write for forever and this is my first fic after a very long time of not writing, so I hope you like it! and hopefully my choice of words is not as awful as I think it is, haha! also, this is inspired by a very real documentary I half watched while falling to sleep and somehow had an idea to turn it into a domestic stony fic. feedback, reblogs and likes are appreciated and needed!

Tony stirred in his sleep, some weird, distant sound getting into him. Sometimes it did happen, and Tony hoped it wasn’t the case this time, that Dummy dropped a wrench into a blender, confused in his task of preparing green smoothies. Well, his bot was trying, and Tony wasn’t the one to knock down someone’s enthusiasm, but he better got up and see what was cooking, or blending, and prevent the damage -

Just when he opened his eyes, he wasn’t down in the workshop, but in the dimly lit living room, laying on his side on the couch, illuminated in the glow of a tv screen, that displayed some big, dark bird.
