Hello. I have a day off in Cincinnati and everyplace I go I fall more in love with this city. I wish I had more time here. It is a gem.

If you're planning a bourbon trip, consider Cincinnati. The Queen City sits on the Ohio River across from Kentucky, is only an hour away from most distilleries, and has a strong whiskey scene of its own.

In the past five years, the number of breweries in Cincinnati and nearby northern Kentucky has more than tripled to 25. On paper, the idea of a sitar-guitar Appalachian folk duo may seem puzzling, but in the hands of Dawg Yawp, it works. Tyler Randall, the sitar player, first heard the multi-string instrument on The Beatles' "Within You Without You," and after finally getting one found a way to insert it perfectly into this traditional folk tune. -Bob Boilen
Cincinnati might surprise you, so a weekend away could be all it takes to convince you of how great the city truly is.
Easily accessible from most East Coast cities, Cincinnati is stepping up its game and becoming a destination for those in the know. Those that haven’t been in recent years might have a misconception of the Queen City, but just like many other second- and third-tier cities around the country, they are quickly catching up. Neighborhoods are diversifying, bringing more and more locals to the actual city center, which is in turn bringing more restaurants, shops, and culture to areas that might have been lacking, but were just waiting for a little TLC. Cincinnati might surprise you, so a weekend away could be all it takes to convince you of how great the city truly is.
GOAL! FC Cincinnati is off to a great start. Cincinnati’s newest professional sports franchise’s next match is this Saturday against Louisville City FC.
Just wrapped up a visit and talk in Cincinnati, Oh., and cannot say enough about the positive attributes associated with the entrepreneurial and startup landscape here. Cincinnati strikes me as a town where anything's possible and where evidence of that is visible everywhere you turn.
