TADC has been an incredible story with an incredible finale and I just feel like jotting some thoughts down. EP 9 SPOILERS
the cast being clones, and eventually accepting it and living their best digital lives despite having no effect on the world whatsoever. what a statement. I'm personally very motivated by making the world a better place, and feel depressed and ashamed when I'm not doing that. seeing a story where a happy ending doesn't involve changing the world is new and bold and challenging.
Very much the opposite of so many children's biography compilations like "she changed the world" or "he led the way". Not in a bad way, just new to me. Like tadc isn't quite saying YOLO, live it up, do what you want, either. Like, these characters WANTED to matter in the world and learning that they never will is heartbreaking to them. Makes one think, like, how important to the world do you really need to be to be worth something? Maybe you're still worth something even without an impact. Dang
Isn't She Lovely. One of the most unexpected and heartbreaking ways to depict a tragic queer journey. Incredibly creative and mind boggling. I'm shook and omg poor Jax and poor Ribbit and poor Jax and trans lives matter
Love the fish guy so much xD
Anyway hot dang. Well heckin done goose and glitch. Fantastic work of art.
