Says the people who can now be arrested by their government for causing “anxiety on a social media post.”
Shut the fuck up. We stop caring about what brainless british twats thought long ago.
“Racial inequality”
Ah yes, the country that conquered and oppressed half the world, to the point where independence from the British is the most universally celebrated holiday on the planet, thinks racial inequality came from America. Maybe ask the Irish what they think about that.
number 9 is a positive actually
This really isn’t the own that people think it is, imagine being so proud of the fact that you’ve been manipulated by the media to the point where you put Donald Trump over racial inequality.
Reverse cult of personality was put out there and they bought it hook line and sinker.
1) Disregarding that most people can’t name a bad policy of Trump’s that wasn’t also held under the previous administration or continued by the current, that he’s definitely not the most racist president we’ve had, that he’s got a better track record for marriage equality support that Obama, etc. I’m pretty sure we’ve produced worse, I mean, if you asked me to either sit next to Trump or Jeffrey Dahmer, I’d pick Trump. I mean, idk, if you’re not going to name him as worse than the racial inequality stuff then what about nuclear bombs or something? Our government funneled money to China when we outsourced gain of function research overseas and if covid did indeed come from a lab then the US quite likely funded it’s development. (Which is also something that started pre-Trump, btw.) I feel like you could fairly blame the US for covid and covid is probably worse than Trump.
2) This did not originate from the US, nor are guns a unique factor in violent crime. Plenty of other countries with ample gun access don’t have the same shooting problems as the US. Are mass shooting events are a distinct combination of poor mental health intervention and social factors that lead to radicalization and the disenfranchised being more likely to turn to violence plus gun access, with a side helping of 24/7 media ambulance chasing that rewards shooters with the exact notoriety they’re looking for. Guns are just the easiest to target component of that, and countries that handle all the social factors better than us do not have the same shooting problems. That aside, the UK is not without killing spree events of its own. They’re just done with knives, bombs, and trucks instead.
3) Fair.
4) We uh… We didn’t start this one either. In fact, if anything, we inherited it from Daddy England.
5) Overly vague, but I’m guessing this is about the face that if you took the general gradient of US and UK politics, UK is further left overall, to the fact that a UK conservative can be mistaken for a US liberal. Personally, I think US political leanings have a better counterbalance because of it, but I’ll count this one as firmly in the realm of opinion that we’ll have to agree to disagree on.
6) UK’s average IQ must be low if our political system confuses them. Different government tasks are split between groups to keep any one dude from getting too powerful and to let them all keep one another in check. If the whole state law and federal law thing is too hard, just think of it like different European countries having their own rules and also following EU rules. The US is basically a North American Union that realized it made more sense to just be one unified country.
7) Fair.
8) This should have been number 1 guys what is wrong with you.
8) Only at state/county fairs.
