Oh, i remember this! No truck fucking, but also hard to explain...?

Basically, a lot of truckers feel VERY attached to their trucks, to the point where it's common for truckers to refer to them as their "first baby".

So, knowing this, this trucker's wife organised a photoshoot where her husband's "first baby" got to meet his "second baby". Kind of like those pregnancy photoshoots with dogs?

He thought it was great, and they shared it on social media trucker groups. In a turn i would not expect, a lot of other truckers got really emotional about it. Like, grown men cooing over a stranger's pregnancy photoshoot, going to their wives and asking if they can do something similar 🥺🥺🥺. All in all, strangely wholesome???

I’m not a fan of Shockwave’s “emotionless, therefore only logic, therefore amoral” thing, because I feel like it betrays a pretty fundamental misunderstanding of what science actually is, as well as what counts as emotion. Also it’s pretty ableist imo.

HOWEVER: I adore the idea of a Shockwave who is disassociated from his emotions :) Gimme a Shockwave who feels randomly sick for no reason. Gimme a Shockwave who struggles to tell if he’s having an anxiety attack or if he needs to refuel. Gimme a Shockwave who cut out the emotional stuff as a survival mechanism and now has to navigate life with a deep-set roadblock between different parts of his processor. THAT’S the good stuff.

无限 (wúxiàn) is the immortal (?) guy's name and they've translated it to Infinity in the dub but tbh it's more like limitless

妖精 (yāojing) is translated to elfin but it can mean anything from spirit to monster depending on context (yay we love creative ambiguity)
