Hi sorry my hyperfixations are so so incredibly intense it genuinely is dangerous, no I wasn't joking about BND making me suicidal because I so intensely love and relate to characters it hurts me. I can't ever watch infinity wars or endgame again or else I will be a danger to myself. It's pathetic I know, I hate when people tell me it must be so nice to feel so intensely, ITS NOT. I am always one breath away from being dangerous, it takes one tiny thing to make me on the verge of another attempt. Anyways BND was good but Its added to the list of unable to watch safely 🤓
(this is why I deadass have to spoil everything for myself so I don't set off my hair triggers, i can't go in blind, I will search spoilers up mid episode or season or movie, I will read the ending to guarantee I'll be safe for myself)

bruce's ending in bnd is such a perfect set up for a hulk movie which we'll probably never get because disney and universal suck ass but i will keep being delusional✊
the movie showing how jean can feel whatever her “host” is feeling can only mean that during all those excruciating hours that peter was on the surgical table and she was the only thing keeping him alive, she very probably felt everything—every needle, every stitch, every poke and prod. and yet she stayed because peter promised her she wouldn’t be alone anymore, so she’s sure as hell gonna make sure he won’t be either.

i love peter & mj together but i really appreciate the fact that the movie didn't have an easy fix to the spell. like she doesn't just suddenly get her memories back, and after reading the letter she doesn't just fall back in love (bc he is still just a stranger to her!!). she gets to be a little angry that part of her life was torn away, but is also aware that both her & ned mean a lot to peter and is kind to him, inviting him to the apartment and letting him decide if he wants to tell ned. the nwh ending was a huge moment for peter & before this movie came out i was a little worried they'd just kinda undo / gloss over it, but they're actually working through the consequences and fallout which was so nice
This is a really crazy reach of a theory for the X-Men movie considering we know nothing about it but what if the movie is the X-Men recruiting Jean which makes the government mad so they turn damage control into a department specialized for mutant capture and mutant registration. they turn Peter's inhibitor into the inhibitor collars and the scanner that they used when Peter entered the building into the Sentinel Tech. The way they get the public against mutants is that they say jean is the cause of everything that happened in New York and Spider-Man having to go to the hospital which since we see he's beloved in the MCU would obviously cause a riot

the scene when peter leaves the hospital made me tear up because its such a stark contrast to the way people acted towards spiderman/peter in no way home and yet he can‘t fully bask in the praise and adoration so he’s left to stand there in disbelief because he knows that this is all conditional to his continued anonymity
i think when Frank says ‘you look exactly how I thought you would. nice kid.’ It’s because he’s been picturing his own son who would’ve been close to peter’s age by then, and Frank would’ve been so proud to have a son like him papa frank you are real to me
Peter who’s got incredibly sensitive skin which is only heightened when his other senses are taken away.
So when he has Tony blindfold him, tie him up on their bed and cover his ears with stark tech designed to stop even his enhanced hearing, he can’t help but shiver when something even bristles against him, this magnified even more when his spider senses is blaring danger warnings at him as tony holds a small blade or belt above him.
But what could Peter say, he relished the idea of being under someone’s mercy for once, especially as being spider-man made him acutely aware of the dangers out there, so the idea of someone being able to inflict pain or pleasure at any moment turned him on more than anything else ever could.
Yet this was a thing he knew he could never try out with anyone else, it would be too easy to be taken advantage of (what with now his identity having been revealed) but with Tony he knew he was safe as his mentor turned lover would never truly hurt him… well not in ways he didn’t want to at least 😏
the peter & frank duo was one of the best parts of the movie i'm crying i love them they're so stupid
