There's only one "Talia isn't real" hc/theory I ever might believe:

Talia is a personification of Ukraine itself. And her relationship with Misha as a manifestation of refugee/forced immigrant being homesick. There's almost no evidence to support it, besides this is exactly how I felt when I was forced to flee and live abroad for 4 months.

This headcanon is bonkers, but so is "Talia is actually Noel" theory if we're all being honest. I just prefer my bonkers to be poetic

alternate perspective: penny lamb deserved to live a long and happy life because she struggled a lot as a teenager and got to turn her life around and be happy and fulfilled in spite of it all :) an often overlooked plot point of legoland is that penny’s mental health issues were grossly mishandled leading to the situation with jk-47, so the fact that she got to experience being happy and content for most of her life in spite of struggling with severe mental health issues in her youth makes me really glad!!!!!!

Summary: Under the almost blue skies of Uranium City, the former Saint Cassian's Chamber Choir begin new lives in more ways than one. They lean on one another as they try to move on, but that's easier said than done. With new living situations, new people, night terrors, and different injuries to heal from, nothing will ever be the same. While most changes are for the better, there are things they now know that they have to carry with them. While some of them are just happy to be safe and alive, others are dealing with more issues than they ever anticipated they would. On top of that, the world around them feels... different. They start to notice things around them in ways they never did before. Around them, the world seems to have shifted. The people around them, while unaware of exact details, seem to sense it as well. When a new development strikes the group, they realize that even they don't know all the details about what happened September fourteenth, and, since they're waiting for the next semester to begin, they have nothing better to do than try to understand everything: the accident, their revival, and what's different about them...

I'm back to my main fic! This is a direct sequel to "Are We Ever Going Back?" It starts a few months after the accident, just as all the court situations are being settled. I already have six chapters lined up, but feedback and encouragement will help me stay motivated to write and improve this fic.
