good things

today’s neuro lecture was good & understandable [rare] & interesting to me [extra rare]

i finished watching the last lecture for the CF module which means i caught up on a whole module start to finish in 3 days

back to volunteering today which was good!!! 

i helped a yr 1 boy with his spelling & i almost teared up seeing him learn how to spell out words [i explained the concept of church as a christian mosque & it rly gets u thinking about default semantics]

seeing this yr 5 girl complain about how her hwk was too easy bc she wanted to learn!!!!!! i hope she goes far!!!! also the fact she’s even there bc she likes the env [they “graduate” it by yr 2]

i didn’t have to reset my tumblr pw even tho it’s been almost a yr? possibly?

ari & dante is a good book, i realised benjamin alire sáenz is a writer who just Does it for me after reading last night i sang to the monster which is exciting bc this hasn’t happened to me in a while

my period came which means i can blame all my emotional inconsistencies on that :~)

this movie deserved to flop & i'm pretty sure it did what a waste of good talent, they were all such (mostly) good actors but the dialogue was so shit, and the relationships between ppl were so underdone

it could have had so much more potential bc it was about the ending of relationships which isn't really done a lot but like it fell flat it could have been so impactful 

the dubbing rly annoyed me of song hyekyo i would have preferred her korean accent it rly ruined the mood of the intense scenes involving her? or maybe get a better dubber or a better mic or sth

this post has gone off the rails i forgot what i wanted to say tbh but like it was rly pretty and an easy watch i just think it could have been better

i really wish i hadn’t spoiled it for myself (it was like a minor comment on a review of the book on gr saying like ‘i wish she had left the fight scene in’ which,, it’s a first person pov so) i would have been so Shook by it i’m fjdkslajkfds i resent not questioning my whole life by the reveal

i don’t read a lot of thrillers it’s probably guessable if u do

i’m glad it was explicit f/f bc i was like i swear if the author pulls some it was just Best Friends Forever shit........

it would totally feed into tumblr’s (ok idk i haven’t been on tumblr for like half a yr but these random posts r fun to write) ‘dangerous teenage girls’ aesthetic

i just !!! wow this book i’m going to read the 2nd book with no knowledge i trust this author tbh the diversity was quite well done like it was there but not Token or stereotypic
