Prompt 3: "Date Night"

Following a rather precarious battle, Bumblebee and Blitzwing hunker down where they can while figuring out a way to escape their current predicaments. It doesn't take long for Bumblebee to fall to exhaustion, leaned against the powerful triplechanger - who, surprisingly, doesn't mind.

I wanted to be a little silly and a little narratively inclined with this prompt so I may have skewed the meaning of "date night" to mean "anything tangentially romantic" wgsidnfj

Anyway! This was a joy and a pain to work on because I really wanted to show my beloved friend @bearhaironthechair how much their friendship has meant to me over the past year and how much I've grown to love this silly little ship because of them and their constant silly antics. To be quite honest, before I'd met them, I wasn't a huge blitzbee fan and was in fact considering not shipping it at all, but our conversations and downright fangirling over two fictional robot men has made me appreciate the ship far more than I anticipated

quick tip from someone who has been in fan spaces for 20 years: being enthusiastic about your rarepair and making your own stuff/engaging your fellow rarepair shippers will ALWAYS work better than yelling at people who enjoy a more popular ship about how bland their ship is

This is going to be a whole ass rant actually. I know i tend to be wrong on things, but at this rate keeping it to DMs is not going to change much. This is also going to be me kind of yelling at the mutuals i have made in this fanbase or those that are slightly okay with my existence, sorry if it hurt your feelings, but even you need to be called out on this behavior This is a rant about being at shipping wars with each other, or mildly aggrivated and or pissed off and then being passive aggressive OR pushy as hell towards each other indirectly OR directly. read down bellow if you so wish.

THE GIST OF IT IS SUMMED UP IN THE COMIC! But there is an underlining annoyance i have been having. YOU BOTH KEEP TELLING EACH OTHER TO "just block and leave it be, hur dur" but then just go about either directly posting or vague posting about it either on the same fucking blog or somewhere else. Like fine, you can complain, i am doing it right fucking now, but the issue i am having is the fact YOU BOTH ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME BEHAVIOR TOWARDS EACH OTHER! This goes to my moots as well like Saxandviolins and Cryptids, who yes, i count as mutuals! "But they hurt my feelings about the ship a like! I keep seeing it all the time and i can't just block them all!" mutherfucker, get a spine, you have bigger things to fucking cry about than someone being a bitch on the internet over IMAGINARY ROBOTS BEING GAY. STOP BOTHERING EACH OTHER LIKE THIS! "But they are so annoying about it and pushy about their ship, so i will make fun of them!" BRO i have have been a major fucking troll in the past, doing this too and i will tell you this: IT IS AS PRODUCTIVE AS EATING YOUR OWN BOOGERS! IT WILL NOT STOP THEM FROM BEING ANNOYING AND OR PUSHY!

And it's not just these two cases, just the most recent ones i seen! I was told by many others that this bullshit has been going on with several people before, hell if not hundreds! And it is getting just tiresome seeing you all huffing and puffing at each other like petulant children at a playground. I am also the rare case of liking both and not bothering either side and being compliant with either sides interest like ANY RESPECTFUL SHIPPER FUCKING SHOULD! Yes you can be upset, but don't fucking yell at the person about it either! Keep it to the dms with moots but don't fucking enable each other and remember to tell yourself this:

"these are just characters in a story i took and put in a room to kissy kiss, it is no big deal and i should not get upset when someone doesn't like it!" "Oh they are making the characters kissy kiss, i don't like that! but that is okay as that should not be my biggest issue of the day and there for i should mind my own business"

TL;DR Me to both of the constructiprowl and anti-prowl shippers at the moment, you both get the same response whenever i see or hear about you complaining EQUALLY(and also any other shippers at war with each other tbh):
