Addressing the elephant in the room when it comes to people's thoughts about Jax abstracting:

As a Caine fan who was ABSOLUTELY devastated by his death in episode 8, I want you to know that I feel your pain. I'm sorry if seeing Jax abstract -- when you were hoping for him to get better -- happened instead.

You ARE worth loving, yes; but the takeaway from this is the fact that change has to start with YOU. A support group will mean nothing if you are unwilling to unstuck yourself.

Recognize your flaws, accept them-- then work towards a better future for YOU and others around you. I know it may sound harsh to say this, but Jax is YOUR cautionary tale. If you relate to him, then don't make the same mistake as he did. You're a lot stronger than Jax.

Reach out to people. Even if it seems scary. People WILL reach back. And things will get better for you.

Since I'm deaf, here are two things I didn't know actually made. A noise

I didn't know people actually heard someone's stomach rumble, I thought that was a myth. Like you can hear it but in the way you can hear your heartbeat.

I also didn't know you could hear others eat. When someone says something is crunchy I assume it just feels nice, and was another 'internal noise' that only you could hear. "Wow listen to that crunch!" Mhm yeah I'm sure it sounds nice.
