Hi There!

Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! This is a blog mostly dedicated to the Spike/Angel pairing from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel: The Series, though I'm a multishipper and you'll see other ships discussed on here as well!

I wouldn't necessarily say that this is a NSFW or 18+ blog, but given the nature of BtVS and AtS expect some discussion of adult topics, promotion of 18+ fanfic etc.

I do indeed write fanfic, but I have a separate Tumblr for promoting it.

Feel free to jump into my asks! I'm always happy to chat about my opinions and headcanons on characters and ships. Seriously, there is nothing I like more than getting asks. I also love to play ask games, so watch out for those.

there is a certain genre of fandom friend/aquaintance where like, 90-95% of the time you either agree with their takes or at least can see where they're coming from because they sound reasonable. but that 5-10 percent that remains. is a fucking doozy.

Being crazy about a piece of media for any amount of time will leave a weird mark on you forever because years later you’ll see someone posting something about it like “can we talk about this frame” and you’ll be like “ah that frame. i know all about that frame. I was once a scholar of that frame.”

okay so this is a thing i've noticed a lot in my main fandom (buffyverse) (im sure it happens in other fandoms too) but sometimes people will write fics that are allegedly character A/character B but the title is like "I Hate Character C With a Burning Passion and He Dies in Every Chapter Because Fuck Character C" (i say "he" because it's almost always a he but I imagine in some fandoms it happens to women characters too) and while these fics are kind of annoying (because I want to read A/B and hey what if I like C? and they're just. super childish ngl) they're actually kind of funny to me

like

this fic is supposed to be about A and B but the whole fic is focused on C. Every chapter is about him. The title is about him. If there's banner art/cover art, he is on it. It's all C. Everywhere. The author who supposedly hates C so much has written an entire fic. About him. And I just. I have a couple theories about this, one is that those authors are just. miserable people. but a second, funnier, theory that I have is that these authors actually like C. They are obsessed with him. No, no, hear me out. They wrote a whole fic dedicated to C. They think about him constantly. In addition to their fics, some of them constantly post on Tumblr and Discord about how much they hate C. He is all they talk about. Like. You want to fuck character C so bad it makes you look stupid.
