this is NOT an UTDR lore presentation. this is purely the most basic story beats of undertale that you need to know to understand this comic series that i made. i don't even mention the plot of deltarune at all beyond the fact that the flowers exist

certain things are either omitted or simplified here because, again, this was made for a 55 year old woman who has never played a video game before in her life and just wanted to understand her weird kid's unusually popular fanfiction. i am not going to bother trying to explain save state time travel or the concept of determination to my mother

half of it is just a visual guide to which characters are which & how to identify them in my art because god bless her but my mommy cannot remember character names or faces to save her life. this is a repeated problem when we watch tv shows and movies together
