When you last minute decide to go to Moab on a Sunday, Crazy but worth it..... We rolled up to canyon lands as a large (cold) storm rolled over, I was worried that we were going to get rained out and not see anything, but as we got to the last out look the storm passed and the sunset broke through the clouds. I can get to controlling with my photography, thinking I can only do certain things at certain times and worrying about weather to much, when I just need to get out and see what happens. Those end up being the best moments anyway. "Oooo it's snowing! Let's chase it up the canyon and get some sweet fresh snow photos" quickly turned into "oh... I took the wrong car on this I'll advised adventure?" As I hit near whiteout conditions and unplowed roads up American Fork canyon. Still was a great time! Just wished I had the Xterra. To dig through some of the deeper snow my poor crossover was not tall enough for.
