Early mornings where never Jays idea of a good morning. Being woken up at dawn to suit up and trek through the snow was nothing compared to a warm blanket by a warm fire.

It was routine at this point. The squad having to coax and sleepy six year old into his winter gear. Tying his boots because he didn’t know how to tie his shoes yet. Preparing his portion of breakfast.

The squad knew a child shouldn’t be here with them. A child shouldn’t be asked to fight in the force no matter the power coursing through his small frame.

It wasn’t spoken but the adults where on the same page. They would do everything they could to keep Jay comfortable, shield him from as much hardship as they could. To try make him feel at home with despite being powerless against the selfish higher ups in power.

To keep a child warm with love and security in a cold demanding world

For this one I wanted to show a bit on how Jay was cared for by his squad at a young age. Like Jasmine put a warm beanie over his head to cover his ears and how Casey is also making sure the lil guy is ok✨✨ Jay trusts them and feels safe enough to nod off in the middle of them getting him dressed for the day🤣

During Jays time in the military he didn’t have much down time as he got older, his skills and powers became too valuable to set aside for the next soldier.

The title of the militarys Special Ops Super Soldier followed him everywhere he went on base since he was 6 years old. But the older he got the less empathy came his way. Soldiers sighed in relief knowing he’d get sent in their places, others frowned at him for taking away “opportunities” to move up in the force and the remaining troops just kept their distance due to the status and rumors that began to cling to his name.

And with his selective mutism, he lacked the voice to defend himself.

But with his squad he didn’t have that concern. He was just a 17 year old boy hanging out with his family of special ops.

Down time was his favorite. The moments of playful teasing, competitive nature of playing card games and relaxing on the sofa and watching old vhs tapes of movies. He wasn’t viewed as equipment with them.

He a member of the squad.

A family

With a bond so powerful that the blood in their veins couldn’t tell them otherwise.

Ok I wanted to try something new with my art by writing out the scenes that I draw 🙂‍↕️ (it's below !) I hope it's not to small to read so if it is Ill just put it on here instead 😅

For this drawing I wanted to show how Ms Hana is Jays support when he needs help with Lucas. Jay is a single parent and one of the champions of Hyrule, he got a lot of responsibility's to juggle by himself. Ms Hana has been his anchor since the calamity happened. She was by his side while he recovered from that war.

When things get hard he knows he always has another home waiting for him in Kakariko and he can't be anymore grateful to her for opening up her arms to be family and safety for Lucas too.💙

A couple days ago I was asked if Jay and Ruby from my aot AU would be in my artfight roster, I said no since I didn’t want to stop and make a whole ref sheet for them💀🤣

But then I realized I don’t have to, I can just chibify them to save time and just post already finished works of them in they profile’s 🤣🤣🤣 so now these two will be options to draw in artfight this year🙂‍↕️

Jay tends to be a workaholic so it's not an uncommon sight to see him asleep in his suit while lounging in this massive beanbag in his room. His hero suit is a two piece so he can remove the top half and replace it with a normal compression shirt or the bottoms with any pants or shorts he wants. The suit itself looks seamless together because there's thin electromagnets in the fabric that automatically stick when his powers activate. He also has them in his mask to keep it from flying off his face✨✨✨

He keeps a journal on all the monsters he fights in case they reappear, which is just an old habit he picked up his military years observe the

enemy, take notes and not get caught off guard again😂😂

I'm not too thrilled with this one due to the lighting I was trying to replicate very early morning/dawn but it's ok e but I do want to get more Kiran content on here and this was practice for 2 point perspective, I still don't think I understand tho

But hey it's done and I didn't delete it

Morning vibes with Ethan ✨

I decided to give him a lil drone companion Called V.I.A (Virtual intelligence assistant)

His drone is like his lil helper in a way, Ethan made it to help with every day things like reminding him what time he got to clock in for work, where he last set his glasses and it can even do a full scan to check for injuries, which came in handy when Makalo sprained his ankle after falling off his skateboard. It also help check his math and calculation when he messes around with voltage for his other tech.

As advanced as this little machine is Ethan designed it off how he imagined it as a kid so it has a ball like body but lightweight wings he designed based off hummingbirds. If the wings are damaged the drone just roles around or uses the stubby legs Ethan gave it as a last minute addition..which prevents it from climbing not stairs 😂

It also can't talk it communicates through a series of beeps that give off different meanings based off tone. Ethan gave it a carefree personality so it tends to wander around his room and workshop in the garage like a pet if Ethan doesn't give it anything to do.

The challenge I did with my buddy was to draw our aot ocs being clingy, in this case the girls being clingy towards the guy so here is Jay and Ruby in the attack on titan au ⚔️

Maybe it got cold in ruby's quarters so now Jays stuck trying to sneak her in his 🤣✨🤣✨

Jay is part of the scouting regiment ⚔️, while Ruby is In the garrison🌹

Kimmie heading to the ice rink ✨⛸️

the city noise can be a bit harsh on her hearing aids so she tends to chew gum to help her just focus on getting her destination, the ice rink.

Shes been an ice skater since she was a little girl, it's an escape for her. A place she doesn't have to rely on sound and a place she can just thrive from movement and fluidity alone.

It's just her and the ice. A space where she feels the safest and most confident⛸️✨

I imagined these two where hanging out when Kimmie suddenly decides to squish Ethan's face and he just accepts his fate🤣🤣

Also I changed Ethan's hair and glasses and he looks so much better compared to his older designs. I also darkened kimmie’s eyebrows which I think help make her eyes pop since they give like a nice contrast between her hair color✨✨

So my approach for this was to really show off how despite how flashy jays powers are he can really be subtle about them too. He actually has control over if he wants to show them or not which helps him be more stealthy at night and darker settings. But his eyes are always glowing when his powers are active👀⚡️

As for this scenario I imagined that maybe he sees someone getting mugged and decided to step in or maybe someone’s purse got snatched and he follows the thief into an alleyway to get it back. But unlike other heroes Jay isn’t the type to announce his presence or have a go to line. He’s silent majority of the time, so the bad guys never see him coming🤫

Jay doesn’t view himself as a hero who should be praised, he sees he how’s the power to help people and make a difference so he takes it to heart to make sure people are ok, even if he doesn’t know them. But if your the ones he’s after then…don’t blink ⚡️

After Lucas learned that “Papa Day” comes back every year he was determined to give his papa a great gift! But with no currency in his pocket he suddenly found a better idea. To make a giant pancake🤣✨

That morning Jay went to collect firewood and Lucas began his plan. By the time Jay returned he found Lucas in the kitchen covered in flour, sugar spilled across the table and broken eggs that didn’t make it into the bowl. Jay could only stare at the mess across from him. When the boy saw he been spotted he grabbed some parchment and padded up to him with a shy grin

“Happy papa day!” He told him while holding his drawing

Jay completely forgets about the mess and ruffles his son’s flour dusted curls with a laugh. He thanks him and shows Lucas the proper way to make a pancake while also working together to make there rest of their breakfast ✨

I had fun drawing this 🤣✨ idk why but I really like drawing food✨🙂‍↕️ Happy Father’s Day to all the mentors, parents and the person who simply stepped up. Keep up the good work !🙂‍↕️🫡
