...and welcome to Spellcheck! We're an actual play DnD podcast that updates every Friday at 9:00PM/21:00 EST on YouTube. The first episode of our first campaign, "Crucible of Creation", is up now here! Follow our ragtag party of four formed by circumstance as they travel through a world still ravaged by the aftershocks of the Theoclysm four hundred years later. This world may be a cruel and forsaken land, but still we persist.
One walks under astral light, wielding arcane might.
Another sings with resonant strings, and gold petal wings.
The third a voiceless soul, lost what made them whole.
Last a faithless outlaw, swift of blade and paw.

Crucible of Creation
Mod Intro
Hey!! I'm @amara-laz. Laz and Amaranth are both acceptable names to use for me, as are any pronouns except for it/its (they/he/xe if in doubt). My pizza order is green olives and anchovies, my favourite literary device is probably juxtaposition, and I can only snap with my left hand despite being right handed.
I play Leinara Helspur in "Crucible of Creation", and I'm super excited to see where this campaign goes! Stick around, if you will, and join me (and my fellow players) as we explore this forsaken world.
Hellooo! I'm @just-lumii (Lumi or Lu), I'm happy with any pronouns but prefer it/its or they/them if you can <3. I'm an archer, not to be confused with our amazing DM Archer, and I'm a pretty decent shot! I love to read / Write stories and character which is why I got into D&D. I love iced coffee, especially with honey, and mint chocolate ice cream (not together)

I play Kenzie Underleaf in "Crucible of Creation", and i can't wait to see how her and her new friends stories unfold. I hope you stick around to enjoy this forsaken world as much as we are.
In an effort to make this blog as navigable as possible, posts are tagged by characters, campaign, and episode, as well as whatever generic DnD tags I feel are fit. I will do my best to keep all spoilers under cuts, but after three episodes, I'm going to assume that what happened in that episode is common knowledge (e.g. you may see episode one spoilers in posts about episode four without warning), and I post video descriptions as is. Because the tag #spellcheckdnd is being used by another podcast by a similar name (they have a space, we don't), our posts will be exclusively tagged with #spellcheckpodcast. If you have any suggestions about how to improve upon my tagging system, please feel free to let me know!! /gen. Tumblr is a hellsite, but goddamn if I'm not going to try and make it somewhat user friendly here lmao
Episode 15 of our DnD actual play podcast is out now! Watch "Blazing Trails" now!
Newly battle trained, the party sets off for Sandri Gara with a new sword and a tentative alliance with the Jakalkin. Not quite keen to repeat the incident at Alderani's Rest, they trek through the mesas to cross the world on foot. Which might be effective for avoiding the eyes of the Conclave, but maybe those aren't the only ones they need to be worried about.
Episode 14 of our DnD actual play podcast is out now! Watch "Words of Wisdom" now!
After their plans went awry during the convoy raid, the party returns to Rustrock so that Krag can heal Mistress Stella. Though with a strange prophecy repeated by Stella as she’s healed, it’s time that the party goes on their training arc.
Episode 12 of our DnD actual play podcast is out now! Watch "A Will of Iron" now!
There's no rest for the weary as our party heads east to the most hostile edge of the world in search of an audience with the Jakalkin chieftain. The journey is not without its challenges, though, as the party and their new travelling companion, Silas, encounter various local hazards on their way that threaten to slow -- or even completely stop -- them on their way to Rustrock Fortress. By the way, has anyone seen lizard number eight? I swear there were eight of them last night.
Episode 11 of our DnD actual play podcast, "Soaked to the Bone!" is out now! Watch it on YouTube!
