By the way "some aroace people still date and have sex" and "it's weird how internet spaces makes every single aroace character romance and sex favourable" can and should co-exist. Sincerely, an aroace person
[image ID: #i honestly don’t even think they’re making aspec characters romance and sex favorable though #like they say they are but they’re just making them allo #because people don’t take the time to actually understand the nuances of aspec identity #and like. being aspec and sex and/or romance favorable is still distinct from being allo /end ID]
I hate conventionally vampires that are basically just models but with fangs and none of the fear factor. You can be pretty and do scary shit but many series forget that
Vampires that are purely for sex appeal and romance without any of the blood sucking
Vampires that don't take advantage of shape shifting abilities
Twilight
Vampires that are centuries years old dating teenagers or freshly turned 18 year olds. I don't fucks with them gothic groomers
Vampire stories that forget about the horror aspect of vampires and focus only on YA drama
Vampires that don't do fun vampire shit, like sleeping in coffins, being sensitive to sunlight, turning into bats
Vampire stories that are just dramatic soap operas. Lemme see someone tear somebody's throat out and guzzle their blood dammit. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVE TRIANGLES!!!
The list goes on and on but...I truly am inches from being the world biggest vamp hater. It's the biggest reason I barely have any save for Gulo.
Also the fact people only use vampires from european literature, folklore and mythology in their stories. The concept of vampires has existed since the ancient times and there are plenty of mythology, folklore and literature that is not white. I wish used vampires from African mythology and folklore in their media or at least as inspiration for their interpretation of vampires.
Sugar cravings aren't usually addiction. Discover how restriction and the binge-restrict cycle may be driving your eating patterns.
Feel like some people may need to read this. Basically when you under eat you crave sugar a lot more because it's an easy source of energy for your body
Some people saying "uhh shouldn't this be obvious" but there is genuinely such a push right now to paint normal human body functions as outdated nonsense that should be ignored for better health. Like cravings for sugar and carbs will always have a reason for existing, it's not some sort of evil trick to sabotage your diet, just probably means you're lacking something
I'm the middle one. Snow is pretty, and cold weather can be romanticized, but only when I can go inside and remember what it's like to be warm. Aya, her baby brother, and her family don't have that option right now.
"I'm Aya, a 20-year-old girl from Gaza. The sounds of bombing may have stopped, but our pain hasn't. We're still living in harsh conditions without enough food or clean water. My baby brother is malnourished, and we can't afford milk or diapers. With winter coming, our suffering intensifies. The cold is biting, our homes are destroyed, and we have no blankets or tarpaulins to protect us from the rain and wind. Every night, we live in fear and pain, just trying to survive. Please help us. Your donation, even a small one, could save a life. We only need $30 a day to cover basic necessities. It may seem like a small amount, but it makes a huge difference to us. Don't leave us alone in this cold, injustice, and suffering. We're not asking for luxury we just want to live with dignity. 🤍🙏🏽"
Let's help Aya ( @aya31gaza ) and her family stay warm during yet another winter in a genocide, or at least try! Donate if you can, share if you will not 🙏🏾

Black asexual women can be groomed by cishet white men and those men can be 'allies' in queer spaces and gain large platforms, whilst Black asexual women are abused, harassed, smeared, slut-shamed for sexual attraction we don't have and blamed for sexualisation we don't want. Again, this is what antiblackness with compulsory sexuality looks like. This is what misogynoir looks like as Black asexual women.
Believe Yasmin Benoit.
Believe victims/survivors.
Black asexuals exist and this rape culture riddled antiblack world is what we're existing in.
🔴Farah urgently needs your support to undergo speech therapy sessions, behavioral therapy, and visual and auditory communication therapy.🙏🏻🥹
🆘Don't be stingy with her; these sessions are expensive, but they are essential.begging you to give a chance at a better life. I'm not asking for the impossible; I just need your humanity.😭🙏🏻💔
⚠️‼️Is there anything more genuine than my poor girl's tears? Don't let her down. It's my right to try to address her mental disability too. I'm a mother, and my heart breaks for her.
🛑My child makes unintelligible sounds, trying to express herself through screams. Doesn't your conscience stir, oh human being? How can you lay your head on the pillow to sleep with my daughter's cries echoing in your mind, without offering a helping hand? Search for humanity in your souls. I am a mother whose heart breaks for her. It is not enough that she is unaware of the death that surrounds her, whether from a sudden cardiac arrest due to potassium deficiency or from facing the symptoms of viral diseases. Every day I wake up with a deferred hope for Farah's survival Make patience a roof One of the dreams is to see her playing, laughing, and talking someday.😭💔
🟥People with disabilities in Gaza endure double the suffering and endless patience, as they face the biting cold of winter and constant hunger in a dilapidated tent. Their options have dwindled, and their bodies are failing, but this failure lies not in their physical condition, but in a world that remains silent.
No one can truly imagine the scenes and images of destruction, bombing, devastation, health failures, and environmental pollution unless they experience it firsthand, and that is something we would not wish on anyone.
My children are sick because of the harsh winter and the viruses spreading every day. Every day brings new expenses – water, milk, diapers, and medicine, the most important of which now is antibiotics – and all of this requires money. There is nothing more painful than having your children suffer. All you have is love - but there is no way to give them safety and health.
🟥🫂My hope is that generous souls will stand by us and donate, even a little. Every contribution is a seed of hope for my child to speak and survive.🙏🏻🙏🏻
In closing my remarks about our suffering, I will thank you, and especially the humanitarian butterfly. @oediex 💗🦋♥️
Note: if you would prefer to pay via paypal, you can do so here.

💥This is my son Abdullah. I gave birth to him after 10 years of waiting. He came after I had four daughters. He's suffering from a sore throat, severe flu symptoms, and pneumonia due to cooking smoke. He tries to help me when I prepare their food. I need to buy him medicine. Please help me. Be compassionate and kind to my family. Thank you. 🫂🙏🏻😭
🛑Please take action for Farah. She needs her chronic kidney medication for this month, antibiotics, and to be registered for therapy sessions. It's not enough; she's battling kidney failure. Please rise up! I need your humanity more than ever. Thank you to everyone who is taking action now.🙏🏻😭🙏🏻
What's wrong with you, kind hearts? My child Farah desperately needs your donations. I haven't received any meaningful support. Please act for her sake; her tears have broken my heart. 😭💔😭Please don't let her down.
found family is "i have endured the fucking horrors with these guys. i would both kill and die for them. i would rip my own bones out to make splints to heal theirs. there is no name for the bond we share"
found family is NOT "this guy is so dad-coded and these guys are so sibling-like and—"
don’t argue with or challenge the delusion—attempting to disprove someone’s delusions is not helpful at all and will result in that person not trusting you
assure the delusional person that they are safe; be open and honest at all times
encourage them to verbalize their feelings and offer protection to prevent injury to themselves or, possibly, others
start building a trusting relationship with them rather than acting on a desire to control their symptoms
do not confirm or feed into the delusion by asking questions about it when the person is not experiencing a psychotic episode
what it does not mean:
insisting to a psychotic person experiencing psychosis that what they’re experiencing isn’t real
I don’t mean to trivialize psychosis by making a weird comparison, but this guide also serves as a handy checklist for helping someone through a bad drug trip. In both cases your number one priority is to get the person through whatever they’re dealing with unharmed.
i don’t think it’s trivializing at all, nor a weird comparison—as a psychotic person who has had psychotic episodes inadvertently triggered by drug use and/or worsened while trying to self-medicate with drugs, i think this is an important addition.
In June 2023, before the war broke out, I decided to travel to Egypt for fertility treatment, leaving my parents and siblings in Gaza. Thank God, I was blessed with twins, Ahmed and Hossam. Then the war broke out and destroyed everything, and now we are stranded in Egypt in a difficult situation. My family is suffering greatly from the bitter cold without the most basic necessities. Please share this post and donate for my children and my family.

Because some of you think I'm joking this is a list of aspecs who've engaged in antiblack behaviour on this page, my main and towards other Black aspecs on the site. The list will grow in accordance:
Falsely accused me of sending death threats on main for calling out their comments on hip hop music, engaging in tokenism and lying about my post to get me mocked by their followers:
3. Microgressions and explicit antiblackness on the blog, included but not limited to attacking Black allosexuals, joking about being racist, use of white tears and more:
So I've seen the post going around that's kind of like "kids should be able to read whatever they want and not have their choices censored by adults" and I largely agree with one caveat which is that children need to be able to opt in. I remember being 12 and sneaking some dirty books, and being interested and excited to read a book with something more sexy in it, and no one died, and everything was fine, and I was not forever scarred. However I do remember being shown a a horror film at seven by a babysitter and not being able to sleep for three weeks, and if I'd known how scary the movie was I wouldn't have wanted to watch it.
Kids can usually know what they can handle. Kids cover their eyes at scary points in films, kids read past stuff they aren't ready for. But it is good to be clear like "Oh that book might have some scary parts you might not like, are you sure you want to get that one?" Or "Oh this book has some grown up things in them that you might have a hard time understanding, I want to check that your okay with that." Like give kids the warnings and options and they will probably make a safe and informed decision. It doesn't have to be either or.
