The argument that "of course battle shonen are misogynistic and can't center women, they're targeted at young boys and will have to focus on and appeal to them!" is stupid for many reasons - not least the fact that we literally know that plenty of women read them - but it especially annoys me because even as one of the fourteen years old boys they so like to use as a shield I was already complaining about the treatment of women in the manga I liked & getting overly attached to any girl that was allowed to be even half as badass and strong as the boys like someone dying in a desert being offered a bottle of water and if some guy at the time had told me "sorry but you're going to have to deal with it because you boys aren't supposed to care about female characters" I would have become the Joker
Over 10 years ago I drew this mother naga with her kid and a bowl of gulab jamun, and I was blown away to see people still reblogging it and saying kind things here. I decided to draw a sequel, the PTA (People That are Anacondas) meeting is over, and she finally gets to have some gulab jamun. c: I really hope this cheers you up some.
My first reaction: she finally gets to have some!!
My second reaction: oh gosh they're holding tails in the second picture okay I need to reblog this.
i gave the venus of willendorf a brewski

I still reference this post today. And yes, when I say I reference it I mean I sing it.
"dont feed the trolls" is an even more important rule in an age where that troll is likely to be a chatbot trained on bad politics crawling tags specifically to waste ur time. do not engage
this too is homestuck
he's right behind me isn't he

prometheus: hot take,
the greek gods: no give that back
I shouldn’t have laughed that loudly
sorry for the mixed signals I don’t know what I want or what I’m doing mostly
You haven’t eaten anything yet today and your estrogen isn’t going to work if you don’t feed yourself. There are hashbrowns and sausage in the freezer, you should make a breakfast burrito! It will be delicious and i won’t have to eat your boobs just to keep your organs alive.
today i died at sea
i'm a romantic you see
Aega psora
once i get over it i will be over it
"Are you saying we should just allow people to have bad and scary thoughts and feelings??? And talk about them openly??" Yes. Yes I am. Your need to forcibly correct other people's thoughts and feelings into something more palatable and punishing them if they refuse to hide them is FAR more toxic than the hypothetical suicide joke you're getting mad about
maybe I should start carrying around a small cactus in a little terracotta pot, one with “in case of condescension” painted on the rim. that way if I start getting condescended to by someone in a position of power over me I can do something impulsive regrettable and very satisfying
or maybe I could become more confident with asserting myself and standing my ground but let’s be real here ladies the cactus is very achievable
Done and done!
Hmm, now what? Another mask or a knife?
