Welcome to my page! You can call me ‘spider’. I mainly draw Corbeau fanart, although I am working on drawing some other Pokémon characters in the future. In case it isn’t obvious from my posts: I love Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

I have a very heartbreaking Corbeau headcanon that I might do a short story on in the future (TW: death)

I like to think that Corbeau sketches outfits in his free time. He probably has a ton of books and papers in his drawers, filled with detailed sketches of clothing and accessories he wishes he could bring to life.

From ages 2-13, he was in an orphanage. Very anti social, got into trouble a lot: no one wanted an older child, so he was there for most of his childhood. While staying there, he has a friend (I don’t have a name picked out yet, but she would be a girl). They’re thick as thieves, two peas in a pod: the greatest friend he could ever ask for, he see’s her as the most important woman in his life, taught him how to help others in need, and then she leaves.

He decides at 13, a year after her departure, to leave the orphanage as well. He lives on the streets, eventually is seen by Giovanni, then travels with him for under a year before heading back to Lumiose.

He gets back up on his feet, works his ass off for years to get by, gets seed money from Lysandre, and a few years later he’s now involved in the Syndicate.

By the time he’s working with Philippe, he decides to use his tools to his advantage and try to locate his friend from the orphanage.

He finds out she’s passed away (self inflicted) and his view on the world alters.

She taught him how to draw, and he would sketch with her in secret at the orphanage when they should have been asleep, hiding under the blankets, flashlight on, creating outfits they wish they would have worn if they had money.

To this day, she is the model for the clothes he draws. It’s his way of honouring her memory. He won’t talk about her to anyone, but if you get close enough with him, he’ll tell you all about her story.

Wine Drunk

When I think of someone going on a date with Corbeau, I don’t really think of what most people would think.

I don’t think he’d take his partner to a fancy restaurant in a booth just for the two of them, I don’t think he’d take them on a tour of Lumiose, I don’t think he’d bring them to his office for a “private” meeting.

You know what I think this man would do?

He’s bringing that partner to his pent house and spilling tea.

You can’t tell me he wouldn’t be down to get wine drunk, eat charcuterie, and bitch about everything and everyone. Tea from years ago? Ohhh, he’ll still bring it up like it’s piping hot, burning on his tongue. I think he can be forgiving to an extent (especially if it benefits him), but this man holds GRUDGES.

And with that comes the juiciest tea in all of Lumiose. But, of course; you didn’t hear it from him ;)

I don’t think Corbeau dates easily, either. I think if he’s wrapped around your finger, he’s there for life. Because of that, I think he’d be more than willing to invite his partner to his pent house. Lots of trust.

He’s leaning over his kitchen island, face flushed red, eyes heavy and lidded and slightly bloodshot, holding his wine glass in hand as he gives the most dramatic retelling of an event. Cue his partner trying not to laugh.

“I’m so serious. They genuinely said that. Can you believe that?? Who SAYS that?? Let me tell you, the look they had is seared into my brain!!”

Maybe I’m just writing this because I want to kiki with him. He probably has some good stories.

Corbeau & Sour Candy

I think if that mans AuDHD ass likes to eat anything, it’s candy. But it HAS to be sour. Sweet and sour is the ultimate flavour combo in his eyes.

He’s having the worst day imaginable: clients are annoying, a deal didn’t plan out the way he wanted it to, budget cuts, grunts making mistakes; you name it.

The player (who he not so subtly has a thing for) shows up to his office, listens to him rant, only to slowly place a bag of his favourite sour candy in front of him as he speaks.

He shuts up immediately, which takes a lot for him to do (we know he loves to talk).

This man goes from fucking PISSED to absolutely gagged and in awe. He doesn’t hesitate to rip the bag open, little crystals of sugar all over his desk.

“Oh, this is the good stuff. None of that “sour” shit that isn’t actually sour. This stuff’ll make you squirm.”

The player gets some, Philippe gets some, too.

Corbeau sighs and leans back on his chair, lifting his knees up and getting comfortable, looking up at the ceiling and zoning out.

Everyone quietly enjoys some candy for a few minutes before the player heads off.

Corbeau will play a game of tossing the candy into Philippes mouth between meetings. He’ll send the big guy all the way to the elevator and huck the candy to see how far he can throw it (you bet he’ll throw the candy like he does will his Pokéballs, too).

Get that man on a sports team.

I recently did a shiny spritzee hunt and caught a shiny trubbish while doing so. I think that the character running to corbeau to show off their cute shiny trash baby and being so excited about it like I was would be adorable and him reacting to the shiny (also I love shiny hunting and have always wanted a fic or at least hc that includes a shiny hunter reader lol)

I’m also a shiny hunter, so I totally understand this, haha! I remember getting Shiny Trubbish after not finding one in Lumiose for a while and I couldn’t stop looking at it with my camera. Just a baby. Which shiny is your favourite?

I can imagine it playing out like this;

Typical meet up at the office about hyperspace. Right when the meeting ends:

“Hey, Corbeau; check this out.”

It’s a dusk ball, placed on his desk. He doesn’t seem very intrigued (he pretends like he’s not incredibly excited by what he’s about to see). He releases it onto his desk; a shiny stink baby!!

He’s ooing and aahing over it, having memories being brought back of hiding behind dumpsters during rainstorms as a child and all the Trubbish keeping him company. He lets out his Garbodor to examine the little Trubbish.

“They’re very misunderstood little things”, he says. Very symbolic of him, but he doesn’t realize that. He likes how the Trubbish’s body is dark blue. He thinks it will help them camouflage at night.

Philippe completely softens when he sees it. Back in the day, he was a little angry with those stinky things. Felt like they would cause trouble stinking up the streets. He wasn’t nearly as patient as he is now. Corbeau, somehow, taught him that. Now, when Philippe sees a Trubbish, he’s reminded of his progress and how grateful he is for it. He loves them. They remind him of Corbeau (not to say Corbeau is stinky, we all know that man smells delicious).

Corbeau isn’t patient, but he has a very high tolerance for things. Philippe is the opposite, imo.

I can imagine the player putting the Trubbish in a dusk ball in honour of Corbeau (and perhaps maybe to brag a bit).

The players excitement makes Corbeau just look at them in awe for a moment before snapping out of it. He admires when people get passionate about what they love.

Now, the player releasing a different shiny for Corbeau to see? I have one for you:

Shiny Ekans.

Its original purple is obviously adored by Corbeau; but a little green snake? How can he say no? That’s just cartoonish at that point and he LOVES it.

The player catches him a shiny Ekans, in a dusk ball, just for him. You bet his walls are gonna come down and he will IMMEDIATELY baby it. From 0 to 100: gruff and stern to soft mushy man.

“Ohhhh, come here, sweet girl. Oh, aren’t you just the most precious thing?”. Of course he immediately wants to dress her up, spoil her; baby Ekans now rules the Syndicate, basically.

Cue Philippe trying not to laugh behind him. Lock in, big guy.

But thoughts of Corbeau losing it at people during meetings while cradling a little shiny Ekans? Philippe can’t help but snort.

I like to colour-code my shinies; they typically will go in a ball that matches the colour palette. If I REALLY like a shiny and might put them on my team, they’ll go in a luxury ball even if it doesn’t match. (I also like love balls for a girly pop team.)

Here’s how I’ve envisioned it; during Corbeau’s little “upstart” phase when he was younger (as Philippe describes it), I feel like he had a little bit of a h*e phase. With businesses starting up, his wallet finally full for once; he’s probably full of adrenaline and feeling like he’s living for once, and he wants every ounce of that feeling of life he didn’t have before. As someone who was neglected emotionally; physical touch was probably a bit of a coping mechanism for that. A quick way to feel wanted and seen but not enough to get attached.

During the Syndicate era, I like to think that he decides to tone things down and focus more of his time on work. He isn’t just a multi business owner anymore; he also runs a Syndicate: time to but his big boy pants on and lock in. It was a fun ride, but the nights he’d spend sleeping with random people / paying them to sleep with him started to lose meaning/feeling. He won’t admit it for a while; but emotional sex is something he deeply desires.

OKAY BACKSTORY DONE; now here’s where I think he’d be at as a partner/lover:

I don’t think a person’s status is the main motivator for why he likes a person. I truly believe their character and their trust and strength are what drives Corbeau to feel deeply for them. If he can’t connect with them; bye bye!

He loves someone that matches his energy, maybe even challenges him on the odd day. Someone who can say “no” in full confidence in front of him, someone who can kick his ass and get his ass into gear if he’s in a slump, someone who listens but also offers feedback. I think the most important thing: someone who makes him laugh. Corbeau’s a serious guy (even if his idea of ‘serious’ is quite hilarious), but he obviously has a teasing side when he’s not in “business” mode.

Battling is a form of foreplay for him, but you didn’t hear that from me 😎 the more intense his partner looks as they battle, the quicker he gets excited.

Corbeau’s work requires a LOT of mental energy. Let’s just say he often likes to NOT be in charge in the bedroom. Doesn’t mean there aren’t times where he’s in control.

At first in a relationship, Corbeau struggles with sharing. He’s particular about where he wants things to go, how he wants things to look, etc. He grew up with the idea of “if something good falls into your lap, take it and don’t get rid of it”. He slowly learns to share his environment more, something he’s never had to do before. His favourite part of the day is when he gets home and falls asleep next to the person he loves. Makes it worth it.

He’s REALLY into his partner spending his money. Doesn’t matter if his partner is self sufficient and has their own money, SPEND IT. But only if you send proof that you did (show him those nails you got done in a colour he likes, show a photo of you in that lingerie, show a photo of your new hair. He’ll look at them at his desk, he doesn’t care. Philippe just has to mind his business).

Corbeau is more into foreplay than actual sex itself. He loves both, of course, but GOD he loves being teased throughout the day: little texts here and there when he’s stressed at work, battling him ESPECIALLY unprovoked and when his partner is clearly in a mood, MAKING HIM DINNER (he doesn’t feed himself nearly as much as he should, to have someone make him something he loves is the biggest act of love for him. Talk about feeling seen and loved and taken care of! It’s not that he can’t feed himself, he just forgets to).

^^^ speaking of, I genuinely believe Corbeau has ADHD, Autism, or both. That man is NOT neurotypical. I strongly believe having a neurodivergent partner is the perfect match for him.

Dates outside of his home are rare, considering his busy schedule, but when they happen, he makes sure his partner is pampered. They deserve it.

Now, I’ll finally end this post with the good stuff: how I think he would be in bed/what he’s into 😏:

I feel like he’s into partners that are taller than him. Put those damn heels on. Make him worship wherever they click. He’s really attracted to clothing; tight dresses that show every curve (he’s a sucker for that little bit of squishy tummy, too), suits, nice heels, he really likes heels, he’s a shoes kinda guy, wear nice shoes around him, he’s begging you. Is he a foot guy? Idk, maybe to an extent. I think he likes the power that comes with an expensive shoe. Doesn’t matter the gender; WEAR SHOES!!!

I think he’s a bisexual icon. I also think he’s a switch. Do with that information what you must. I like to also think Corbeau does Pilates during his breaks or before he goes to work. He’s very flexible and stretchy. You’re welcome.

Corbeau doesn’t know how to shut up. He definitely loves the sound of his own voice. Everyone knows this. I think he’s a yapper. Blowing up that damn rotom phone. In bed; yap yap yap. He gets offended if you tell him to shut up. He just wants to express how he feels in the moment and how beautiful his partner is. Words of affirmation and quality time are his love languages.

Corbeau is REALLY awkward with touching at first in a relationship, but quickly becomes a cuddle bug. Thank Scolipede for that one.

He LOOOOOVES his hair being touched. Eyes rolling back type shit.
