i loved robert pattinson’s batman because THATS what bruce wayne in his earliest years as batman should be — a young, awkward socially anxious shut in who looks like he doesn’t shower and would be completely helpless without alfred’s care. young batman is a hot mess who wipes the fuck out sometimes because HE IS STILL LEARNING !!!!! 10/10 bruce wayne characterization please give him a hug and a hot bath

one thing about the batman I truly loved is that when he was around other people like the cops and whatever it WAS abundantly clear how absolutely weird it was that he’s walking around dressed like that. like I feel like a lot of modern day superhero movies manage to tonally just make the heroes look cool, but while the suit definitely looked cool it was also just like. clear he was a fucking weirdo for it lmfao
