I’m gonna be honest people who get upset about no LGBT being represented into their shows/games/books/whatever’s need to just chill. The creator isn’t homophobic, you’re just a dumbass.

Sure it’s nice to see a character like you, but they’re fictional and you’re you. Now before you furiously begin typing you’re replies calling me homophobic for disagreeing with you, I’m part of the LGBT community. But still, even I see the pattern:

“Not enough women.”

“Not enough homosexuality.”

“Not enough ethnicity.”

What’s next? “Not enough incest?”

A book/show/game doesn’t have to have a ton of these things to be good. Y’all need to learn that. Same goes for when you ship characters that aren’t likely to be homosexual and get upset when they’re paired with someone else.

Also, don’t be upset and call someone homophobic just based on your opinions.

You need evidence and facts, not hurt feelings and opinions.

Why do people choose hate over love? Is it because it’s easier to admit you hate something over loving it?

• To love means you’re not always in control, in fact it often means you’re not in control much at all.

You’re not in control period. It’s not your show. It’s the creators and they can do what they want with it.

But the creator died and now these other people are working on it.

Does that matter? I think they’re doing a good job. Sure they make mistakes and it’s not always how you envisioned.

Remember nothing is perfect and they are doing it for just you. You are 1 fan amongst a ton more.

To love means you risk losing, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.

Sure, you’re not always gonna like that fact they took away (character), but everyone’s gotta go sometime, right? No one lives forever.

You’re critical. You think you’d do better, but given their position, could you really? All the stress, deadlines, and pressure.

You shouldn’t be looking down on them. You should be grateful, you should be happy.

You got this cool thing to like. Don’t hate it, don’t be upset or mad because it’s not going the way you wanted.

Just be happy. Don’t maximize the the bad things, minimize them. Think of ALL the things you love about the show and let go.
