Service Desk at Targé

I was finishing the guest in my line at Guest Service, and keeping close watch on the clock because I’m the one that does the store closing announcements.

As soon as I finished with him, and seeing that there was no one behind him, I ran to the office to make the five minute announcement. (Which went very smoothly, even with me being out of breath.) When I got back to the Service Desk, there was this old lady huffing and tapping her foot.

“Well that was rude!” she shrieks. “You had to have seen me walking up!”

“I’m sorry, ma'am, I didn’t see you. I had to run and do the announcement. We’re closing soon.”

“Well that doesn’t mean it’s not still rude! Where can I get some good customer service around here?”

She took so long that, in the end, I had to ask my manager to do the remaining announcement because I was still with her.

Bitch, if you want some fucking customer service, drag your lazy ass in before we’re five minutes to closing. The world doesn’t revolve around you.

Star City Anime

Remember how I was going to do this whole write up on Star City Anime?  Yeah, I can't remember either.  I'm just going to do this in points because I'm one lazy writer.

- Spent most of my time hanging around the Risembool Rangers table selling.  I had a blast talking with people who would come by the table.

- Very friendly con.  It wasn't bad for their first year set up.

- The only issues we had were space and communication.  There really should have been an updated map or better signs stating where panels would be and what room was what.

I am thinking of going back next year since I did have a great time.  Most of the issues were just things that turn up during a first year run of a con.  No one knows what to expect the first year.

I shall end this post with one thing.... BECAUSE BOOBS.

Pre-con worries

Here it is not even two weeks from Star City Anime and I'm still not ready.  I have no clue who or what I'm going to cosplay or if I am.  This is the same for almost every con with me though.  The thing I'm worried about is the fact that Star City is a first year con.  There are so many things that could go wrong.  I don't know much about the venue either in size but from looking at the map from the con's website and the hotel's site it doesn't look like it's very big.  Of course I could be way off since map drawings can be deceiving.

Who knows.  This con could end up being a success or just one huge disaster.  Here's to hoping the con goes off without a hitch and a great time is had by all.
