[ hey y'all! i'll be online a lot this week because i'm on Spring Break! tbh, i needed this break. I was about 2 seconds from snapping otherwise haha ]

[ i've been iconing a lot today, so i feel ready to really get things goin here! ]

[ it was all going so well. i was so ready to be on here everyday. THEN I GOT A VISIT FROM MISS RONA HERSELF :(((( It's my first time with this ick and maaaan it's not fun. I'm gonna focus on resting up for the time being. I'll update y'all when im feeling better. ughhhhhhhh ]

A brow raised. A dragon trap? Really? Dragons were wicked cool though! They were practically a monster staple like...a fellow ghost or a vampire.

She floats above him in order to get a view of this trap and...it's a cage with a plush sheep in it. Was that supposed to lure them in? This scarecrow wasn't even trying.

"Dude, that traps sucks. Only a dragon with a peanut brain would fall for that. I can't believe I got woken up over this. Is that cage even fire-proof?"

" OF COURSE IT'S FIIIIRE-PR- "

The scarecrow did a double-take towards his trap. The cage was very crudely put together with wooden stakes for bars. Unless he had some enchanted wood, Toasty was cooked. The cloaked sheep frantically attempted to block the other from looking at his shoddy craftsmanship by standing in front of them.

" I-It doesn't MAAAATTER!! Dragons ARE gullible enough to fall for this!! IIIII don't hear YOU coming up with any ideas! " He pouts, crossing his straw arms.

King Thes was not in a good mood. (Was he ever?) The grumpy little lion looked around for the culprit and stumbled on the lemur. Immediately, Thes pointed at the ringtailed royal.

" YOU THERE!! Your KING demandth that you THTOP AT ONTHE!! You're interrupting my royal thleepytime! "

The burnt sheep's eye twitched severely. The NERVE of this... this USURPER!!

" ...DON'T PLAY COY WIIIITH ME!! " He snapped back at child. " You know EXACTLY whaaaat you've DONE!! You thiiink I'm going to go as easily as the others? HAAAAH!! "

" Now thaaaaat you've shown your face... " The wicked sheep glares even closer at Ba'ah, hoping his tactics would make the little guy CRACK.

" WHAT ARE YOUR MOTIIIIVES?! "

"Oh, yeah. Diplomacy. That's my second favorite hobby...." he said to himself quietly. He leaned back to follow the king further up. Galra were usually the ones making people do that, so much so that it felt extremely jarring to have to lean up to see somebody even just a little bit- let alone to this extent.

He took a few casual steps back if only to save his neck. "Pantophage, huh?" He'd heard it enough to be not entirely lost when he heard the name. But he'd obviously never been there. Dealing with a king, though? This Jarett was forcing him to do something he really didn't want to. Act official.

"Well King Jarett, I'm Chief Warrant Officer Belost Windor of the Galran Imperial Army. I'm not exactly an envoy or politician but I've interacted with a couple of Kings and Emperors before. What's on your mind, bud?"

What a grandiose title! Sure, the Galran quite literally just said he wasn't a politician, but this was good enough! Yes, Jarett had found the perfect target. The greedy king couldn't contain his glee. His eyes narrowed as his wide grin returned.

" Well Mr. Windor, since you've most kindly asked, why don't I bestow you with some Pantophagian knowledge, hmm? "

" You see, my planet sits at the top of my Sector's planetary chain. Do you know why that is, my boy? Why, I'll answer for you - My planet is one of if not THE most fortified and battle-ready planets throughout the galaxy. I could very well start many wars and come UNSCATHED. "

The massive king made sure to lean closer to Belost - juuust to make sure he really got the emphasis on his planet's strength.

" However, where is the fun in that, hmm? To maintain the peace in my planet... I require some... incentive. " He gave a sinister, sultry chuckle. " Are you following, Mister Windor? "

The gang makes their way into the first area of the game; The Ancient Forest.

" Ooh, dis is a pretty lookin' jungle!! Lookit da little dino fellas! " Carelessly, Fingers approaches a pack of wild Jagras - the very monsters the group was tasked to hunt. It goes about as well as you'd think - The low-level monsters attack him.

" FINGERS YOU MOOK DON'T GO NEAR EM- "

" BOSSBOSSBOSSBOSSBOSS HEEELP!!!! "

" WHAT DID I TELL YA? WHAT. DID. I. TELL YA!! I GAVE YA ONE COMMAND AND THIS IS WHATCHA DO! BOYS, KILL THEM THINGS!! "

" I JUST WANTED T' PET DA RAPTORS BOSS - AAAAGH!! "

" LOOK WHATCHA DID, DUMMY!!!!! THEY'RE ALL ON US!! "

" AAAAAHHH!! THEY'RE BITIN' ME- AAAAAAH!! "

" J-JUST STAND STILL! STAND STILL! "

" GET THEM THINGS ALREADY!! "

Each of the three men ferociously button-mash their controllers as they bicker and shout amongst themselves. Meanwhile, with Knuckles...

" ... " The silent member of the group puts the controller down and walks out of the room. The boys were on their own.

"Will you quiet it down?" So much noise and racket! Woke her right up from her nice slumbering nap from within that building. Thus, she's not in the happiest of moods.

"What are you even doing?" Maybe she can destroy it.

" Whaaaat does it look like?! " The scarecrow-wearing sheep snapped back to the stranger. " I'm making a DRAAAAGON trap!! "

" For toooooo long dragons have been a SCOURGE on sheep-kiiiind!! TORCHED! RAAAAAMED! BARBECUUUUUED!! Not. Anymore. With thiiiiis device, I plan on setting an exaaaample to all dragons! Sheep are not to be triiiiifled with! "

Toasty's elaborate trap was nothing more than a plush-sheep placed in front of a barely-concealed cage. Help him please.

My name is Sprig Speevak. Right now, I'm soaring through the galaxy on some intergalactic training - pretty cool, huh?

Having donned his special suit; The Nebula, Sprig was rocketing past asteroids, debris and satellites all in attempt to hone his maneuvering.

Yep, I'm toooootally nailing this hero th-

Suddenly, in his humble bragging to himself, Sprig ignored a mini-asteroid. He bumped into the space rock and immediately began tumbling off course.

" - IIIIIING!! "

The hero-in-training frantically flailed about as he spun around the cosmos like a spinning top. Eventually, Sprig got his bearings. The lad shook his head a few times to shake off the dizziness.

" Okaaaay, that wasn't my best performance... " He looked around. " Where... Am I? This doesn't seem like any solar system I've seen... " He paused. " Okay, how crazy has my life gotten to the point where THAT is a normal sentence? "

Suddenly, his suit started beeping.

" Oh great, low on fuel... " The teen looked down and spotted a strange looking planet. " Dunno what planet that is, but it'll have to do! Maybe someone down there can tell me where I am and where I can get some sources of fuel... "

The Nebula had juuust enough fuel left to get Sprig down to the planet's atmosphere safely. But before he could land, the suit's rocket pack deactivated.

" Oh great... GAAAAAAH!! " Sprig fell out of the sky like a rock, landing into a nearby garbage can with a BOOM.

" Nailed... it....!! "

[ hey y'all! im still alive ! i had a lot of unfortunate irl stuff happen this past two weeks, so it took me out of everything mentally. but I'm doing better! I plan on putting work aside this weekend and having a huge mental refresher. so I'll be here soon! ]

"Uh..." he glanced at the two guards and then back to Jarett. He was sure he could fight his way through those two but taking out that big guy would be an ordeal. Better to be diplomatic.

"Sure. Looking for the gym?"

Okay. Now to be diplomatic.

Sarcasm! Feisty. Jarett's beady eyes narrowed and he grew a fanged grin. This one was going to be fun.

" I do not move for recreation, my boy. " Exercise? Eww, that was a poor person activity. " No, I seek... Diplomatic affairs, as it were. But where are my manners? Allow me a moment to introduce myself. "

The horned king stands upright for a moment, in an attempt to appear more regal than he already was.

" I am King Jarett of Planet Pantophage. Surely a member of the Galra Empire must have heard tale of my planet, hmm? And whom might I have the pleasure of conversing with? "

Ahhh, Basketball. Nothing like a game of hoops to get the body moving! However, to a certain little king, all of this dribbling-hoopla made no sense. What made even less sense to Thes was that he was standing there and no one was bowing to him!! He was their king!! Hello???

Suddenly, the lion made his way to the middle of the court and demanded attention.

" ATTENTION THUBJECTH!! ATH YOUR KING, I DEMAND THAT YOU THTOP DOING... WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING!!! "

In a beat, the scrawny king's face drops in confusion.

" ...What ARE you doing anywayth? "

He had absolutely no idea what a basketball even was.

The Galra Empire. One of the most notorious dangerous empires within the entire GALAXY!! ...They had to be loaded, right? Sure they didn't exactly have a home planet per-say, but having a whole EMPEROR and a fleet of warriors... that had to mean they were well-off enough!

And if they were well-off... they could afford to GIVE.

Of course, one could not just causally approach Emperor Zarkon with a plea. This was going to have to be dealt with delicately. TACTICALLY.

Finding the nearest Galran, a large shadow would cast over Belost.

" Greetings. " A snide voice called out. " You're Galran, are you not? "

The voice belonged to Jarett, King of the Phantophage. He was a VERY LARGE, red, devilish looking alien. He had two of his guards standing by his side. They were smaller than him - shorter than Belost by a bit.

" Might I have a few words? "

Talk about causing a scene...

It was another day at McClaw's Detective Agency! There weren't any cases going on at the moment, so Karate Kat did what he normally did on while there was time off - sparring practice!

" Alright Katgut, don't hold back on me, baby! Gimme the ol' one two! " He struck a defensive pose, held a fist out and motioned for his coach to attack him.

" Be careful what you wish for Karate Kat!! RRRAGH!! "

The burly cat ran towards Karate Kat, who leapt out of the way as soon as he was in danger. " HAH!! Too slow, pal. Now get ready for my counterattack! KEEEYAHH!! "

As Karate Kat leapt for his sparring partner, one of the other Detective Agency cats; Dr. Katmandu entered the dojo with a gadget in his hands. Before he could make himself known, Karate Kat collided with Katgut, which sent the two flying back!

" OOF!! "

The two cats collided with the Doctor's gadget! As soon as they struck the device, the gadget BLASTED the duo! Just like that, Karate Kat and Katgut were gone.

In a flash of light, the two cats suddenly emerged in the middle of a bleak looking city.

" I guess Karate Kat doesn't know his own strength, baby... " The detective groaned as he stood up. " Say... what's with the new gigs? What happened to the dojo? "

" Karate Kat! " Katgut pointed from the ground. " Lookout, wouldya?! "

" Huh? " The cat turned and noticed a large SWATbot that had approached him. " Ciao, baby. Name's Karate Kat. You wouldn't happen to know where a fella could catch a cab around here, would ya? "

This was NOT going to end well for the dim-witted detective...

After wandering for hours on end, Shameless O'Scanty flopped right onto the ground.

" Oooh... Shameless O'Scanty... yer outta luck and outta time! What's me wife goin' t' say if ye come home wit' no luck fer Valentine's Day o' all days? "

He ran his little hands over his face and groaned. It seemed the leprechaun was at his wits end until suddenly... He spotted something glimmering from the corner of his eye!

" Huh? I don't believe it! FINALLY!! "

Quickly, the leprechaun sprinted towards whatever was shining and clung to it. To whoever actually saw this shining object first... Shameless would say otherwise.

" MINE!! MINE!! I SAW IT FIRST!! "

There he was. That wretched little CUR. Toasty's gnarled little teeth ground together at the sight of him. This was the same hatchling that had the rest of the vile sheep's brethren eating out of his palms. Anger was just the beginning of Toasty's feelings towards the young dragon.

" You.... YOU!! DON'T THIIIINK I HAVEN'T CAUGHT ON TO YOUR CHARAAAAADE! YOU MAY HAVE THE OTHER SHEEP FOOOOOLED, BUT NOT ME. "

He narrowed his eyes - his gaze becoming sharp daggers at the child.

" DRAGONS DO NOTHING BUT TAAAAKE FROM US! OUR GRASS... OUR WOOL... AND YET, YOU HAAAAVE THE GALL TO SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME? "

" DO YOU HAAAAVE A DEATH WISH, LITTLE DRAGON? " A lot of bold words for someone who didn't have his full scarecrow garb on at the moment.
