OH BIRKIN. I recreated that one scene where Wesker and Birkin decide to play douchey assassins and it made me think. Even though Wesker is the main antagonist of the whole series at least when he kills you it’s a short and smooth sendoff, while Birkin here just goes overkill and you can see the excitement of his face like he rehearsed this whole evil speech or something. Birkin is a real dick, he outdicks Wesker by a mile and he is the biggest dick in all of Resident Evil. which is why he’s so fun

Also I just realized Marcus isn’t even in freaking labcoat gear in that scene but I already made the gif and don’t want to edit it again

The opening to the Pili/Urobuchi Gen/Nitroplus/Good Smile Company collaboration project, Thunderbolt Fantasy, that I decided to cut from the only circulating raw ATM so people could give it a look, as it aired at the very end of the episode. The song is by the ever fabulous T.M. Revolution, titled “RAIMEI”, and the opening here seems like a mix of the style Pili does for their own intro videos as well as a fair bit of Sengoku BASARA, though that just may be the song messing with me~
