I knew Star Trek (2009) truly had a grasp on the characters when the first scene with James Kirk showed a little ten year old blonde shit in Nowhere, Iowa driving a vintage car off a cliff to death metal and then the next scene was little ten year old Spock with the doe-y-ist big wet brown eyes you've ever scene beating up a bully for insulting his mommy

I guess it’s too much to hope for that SNW (specifically the newest ep with the mind meld) makes any mention/reference to Tarsus IV? The writers for ST from the last few decades seem to forget/ignore that it happened at all.
