Unpopular opinion, I'm actually really not that mad about Disney Kaisen. Like, ending a story is really hard. And from what I have heard, Gege has been overworked and hoping to end the series for a *minute*, so I forgive him hastily wrapping up plot points that probably sounded exciting to explore 113 ch. ago and not giving us all the hard-hitting, emotional character moments in the ending that the series gave us earlier on.

Not to sound all hippy-dippy but JJK was much more about the journey. It was never flawless, but it was a hell of a ride, and I had a ton of fun.

A lackluster final 4-5 chapters are not going to change my opinion of the series, characters, or Gege. It really is what it is.

1. Gege was actually sweating about what would happen when we catch him

2. This is all actually just Gojo’s prison realm hallucination

3. Blowing past all the character deaths is the most poignant way to drive home the cog mentality/oppressive systems themes, actually, and Gege is a nihilist genius and master of irony

4. Shonen Jump made JJK and CSM fight to decide which one gets to be the genre subversion, dark battle manga (and JJK lost and had to retcon)
