How each of the characters would give a presentation in class:

Harry: (class presenting Harry is different than teaching DA Harry) hands in pocket, talks low, and pauses a lot

Ron: stumbles over words a lot and rambles. Finishes by saying “Um yeah thanks”

Hermione: practiced a lot but still says “um” a bit. Confident enough because she knows her research is good

Draco: monotone yet surprisingly eloquent. Of course well researched and prepared

Neville: very nervous yet knowledgeable. He comes out of his shell more if the subject is herbology

Cedric: charismatic as always

Fred: has some pizzazz to his work. A moving model or a demonstration of some type. Pretty memorable for the class

George: adds in lots of funny jokes. To the point where people kinda forget what he’s talking about but it’s okay

Luna: talks soooo much and she already talks a bit slower. Honestly, depending on the subject, she could take up half of class time if uninterrupted

Ginny: ready for it to be over with already. Talks fast but doesn’t really stumble over words

Pansy: may not be the best research or work but dang does it look nice

Today is my birthday ! so here is how each of the characters would celebrate your birthday:

Harry: just got you a card and a pat on your back. Not good with gifts

Ron: someone had to remind him, awkward but his mom made baked goods for you so all is well

Hermione: 50/50 chance she forgets. If she remembers, she will get a simple but thoughtful gift

Draco: if he doesn’t care about you, your lucky if you hear the words “happy birthday” leave his mouth. However, if you are important to him, he will plan something very nice

Neville: will 100% know when your birthday is and probably bring you flowers (or balloons ?)

Cedric: probably remembers and gets you something small but it’s sweet

Fred: less likely to remember than George but if he does, he will pick a good gift

George: more likely to remember but the gift will probably be more general or something he likes

Luna: will definitely remember but brings it up at a weird time or in an odd way? Like in the middle of a conversation. Minimally will send some good vibes and if your close to her, she’ll get you something special

Ginny: 75% chance of remembering but she considers quality time or doing something a gift because she isn’t the best gift giver. She’ll plan something fun

Pansy: I honestly think that if she’s your friend, pansy will go all out for your birthday

Ron: criminal justice/ law enforcement but tbh 50/50 chance of dropping out after the first year

Hermione: PreLaw with a math minor and definitely took 18 credits or more every semester

Draco: finance for the family business but this was really an excuse to travel abroad and party

Neville: botany obviously

Cedric: communications (I have no idea what communication majors do and honestly Cedric doesn’t know either)

Hermione: at least a 20 minute video with all of the receipts and explanations behind everything. Does not post a single thing from the time the drama started until her response video. Titled with the topic she’s addressing

Draco: notes app apology

Neville: sincere apology video and how he wants to do better. Titled “I’m sorry”

Cedric: “it was just a joke” but is sorry he hurt your feelings. This is thrown into a video about something else. Titled “what happened”

Fred and George: despite their light heartiness, they are actually sorry. They stop posting for a little bit before coming back. Titled “we’re sorry...”

Ginny: apologizes but also the other person shouldn’t have started it. Posted pretty quickly because she’ll keep making regular videos. Titled “apology”

Luna: apologizes and blames nargles but it still feels like accountability. Titled the name of the person she’s addressing. Power move tbh

Pansy: 50 minute video that explains the wrong doings of the other person. Not afraid to tell secrets and create more drama. Probably fake cries. Super dramatic title like “Bye Gryffindor” or “My Response to LIES”

Lavander, Pavarti, and Padma: they would have a group channel for podcast-like weekly talks about school drama. They would also do book reviews (romance novels) and sometimes fortune telling but those got the least views and worst comments

Oliver: obviously quidditch based but also good training and technique advice

Tonks: acts out viewer submitted stories with the help of her morphing abilities. literally gets 100k views easily

Astoria: I feel like she does videos in the “with me” category. Make tea with me, shop with me, study with me. Also ASMR

Lee: commentary channel. He’s really informative but also really enjoyable to listen to

Seamus and Dean: honestly variety channel. storytimes, games, commentary. They do it all tbh

Neville: of course he’s a plant care channel, very helpful in the comments

Cedric- gamer. no explanation

Fred and George: would start off with a joint prank channel but then make separate personal accounts. Both would post vlogs but Fred would sometimes play games while George would sometimes post music reviews

Ginny: also quidditch based but not as biased as Ron’s. Also does thrift shopping and try on hauls

Luna: similar to Ginny’s with thrift shopping, they would probably collab. She would also show off her knickknacks and collectibles (I just feel like she has lots of trinkets). Definitely paint with me’s bob ross style

Pansy: travel vlogger, tries to be a beauty influencer

when i was a little girl i wanted to be harry potter. not hermione, i did loved her, but i wanted to be harry. the hero, the chosen one, the special one. when i saw star wars, i wanted to be luke skywalker. the gentle hero, the beacon of hope. when i saw iron man, i wanted to be tony stark. the one that learns from his mistakes and works on being a better version of himself.

i didn’t need to be a boy to be able to feel powerful and inspired by their stories. when i saw wonder woman, and when i now see captain marvel, i feel capable, powerful. i feel like kindness, empathy, wit, perseverance, all traditionally feminine traits, are all qualities that define a hero. i love that they’re women. but that’s only a part of what makes them powerful.

when men say they can’t relate to ww or cm, they are the problem. i see heroes. i see role models. if i see steve rogers and i see a hero, but they can only see carol danvers from a distance and as a pair of boobs, they are the problem.

let’s not pretend otherwise. they need to learn that heroes come in all genders, shapes and sizes. it’s time to tell their stories. it’s time to teach little boys to love heroes like captain marvel, the same way i loved harry potter.
