It’s shitty the way that trans people are supposed to continuously take transphobia and be people’s learning experience because we often become the “first” trans person that ignorant cis people encounter over and over again. We’re supposed to coddle them, be mindful that how are they supposed know what’s appropriate and what’s not? We aren’t supposed to get angry because these cis people don’t know better. We are to be their resources, offer our knowledge (which often only includes personal experience), and answer all their questions—no matter how personal or invasive. And if, after everything, they don’t understand or are still transphobic, or if we refuse to teach them at all, that’s on us. It’s because we couldn’t teach them well enough, we couldn’t make them understand.
Trans people don’t exist to be educators. It’s not our job to hold our oppressors’ hand, to take everything they can dish out. We are allowed to tell them to fuck off, to ignore them, to tell them to Google it themselves or learn some other way (such as through trans people who actually make it their goal to educate cis people). Our life goal is not to be a punching bag or to teach a never ending, revolving door or ignorant cis people. Transphobes do not exist because we won’t teach them, and if they can’t learn except by imposing themselves on trans people they will never not be transphobic in the first place.

https://www.change.org/p/lego-group-lego-bionicle-continue-in-2017 May as well sign this, just in case.
But seriously tho, big thanks to Lego for doing this in the first place. It probably wasn't the best decision financially, but they did it anyway. Plus we got some cool stuff out of it. Thanks Lego.
I mean, if Ninjago continued after it was supposed to be cancelled in 2013 due to fan backlash, maybe the same will happen with Bionicle? -probably not-
