Seeing Alyssa this nervous and vulnerable?? Big plus, she was cute and it really proved everything people has ever said about her false. “Good, go you where wanna d-” SHIT!! She wasn’t the only one nervous, the blond cleared his throat..a little flush found its way over his cheek. “Sorry about that- AHEM! Where would you wanna go?? Also would you mind traveling by bike..if not I can always lend a car.” His uncle Andy could be the one to bail him out of this jam..or maybe he can check with his aunt Mary?? Either way, he’s going out with the hottest woman he’s ever met. As soon as they’re done he’s going to jump soo high in victory.

alyssa has made calls to clients and friends and her siblings all the time, but when it came to calling this particular guy, she found herself having butterflies in her stomach. taking a deep breath, she dialed the number given to her, then spoke into the phone when the line stopped trilling. ❛ h-hey, rock … it’s alyssa. decided to call ya. I mean … if ya’got the time. I ain’t tryin’ to hold ya’up or anythin’ … ❜ why was she so nervous? / HEY SO UHHH I AM INVESTED.
“Huh..well what’d you know.” Rock was surprised to see which name popped up on the caller ID. He always have wanted to call her himself but he’s always chickened out at the last minute..however Alyssa seemed t be the braver out of the two..something he’s not surprised of honestly and just like that he slides his finger along the screen and places he device against his ear. “Hello?? Nice to hear from you Alyssa…Huh? Oh I got time, just got done working on my bike.” An incredibly old motorbike that Rock had purchased with savings, while it doesn’t look glamorous, it does have its charm..and it’s the only way he could get from points A to B. “What’s up, happy to hear your voice today.”

❛ rocky … do you remember how we were … uhm … roleplaying … and you kept calling yourself the big, bad wolf? well, uhm, ryuujin must have overheard when we thought he was sleeping … and now we have a parent-teacher conference. it seems he told his friends at school that he is part wolf because he heard his father growling and saying he was one. he also is scared that I will not be alive when he gets home because he heard you say you will ━━ uhm ━━ eat me. ❜
❛ . . . you . . . .you are right. ❜ he absolutely was. this place is where you began to evolve. by cutting your hair, you were freeing yourself from what koji and your mother expected you to be. there was a shift in your identity the moment you decided to take back your power, and rock saw that. it could be argued that without him, you would have not been able to gather the small ounce of courage you had to move forth like this. how was it that someone you just met became so significant?
there came that rapid heartbeat again.
bloodshot eyes look up towards him, and though your cheeks were stained with your tears, your lips curved into a smile as you found yourself laughing at his comment. ❛ I am very sure this would spark their rage. but, thank you, mister rock. I was the one who made the mess ; please allow me to clean it. ❜ in truth, you did not want to leave his embrace. you wanted to stay, just a little longer, in that safe place. this experience showed that one could know someone for only hours, but make such an impact.

jumping out of your thoughts, a gasp of realization sharply escapes your lips. ❛ did . . . did I even make your tea and food? oh, my goodness! I was supposed to do that, wasn’t I? please forgive me, I was lost in my feelings that it slipped me. allow me to do that after I clean this up! ❜ the difference between rock and koji? you would do these things for rock with pleasure –– he shows appreciation, he shows kindness, he makes you want to do these things.

“No problem Hanamaru.” The smile he had given her was genuine, after all..how could someone even look at her and not smile. She’s beautiful, smart and from what he can tell thus far very compassionate and not to mention brave having found the strength to live a life she chose.
“Don’t worry about it, existential epiphanies tend to beat out on food and beverages, as long as your convictions are cleared it only means our mission is going to be smooth sailing from here on out. Although if you really do need help with the cleaning up-” That’s when he puts his hand upon her shoulder. “Then don’t hesitate to call me. After all Hanamaru, you and me now are a team., you’re not alone anymore.”
And with that Rock leaves her to do the little snacks and tea while they remain in the safe house. What he will do however is at the very least tidy up the bedroom as best as he can so itd be ready for her slumber tonight.
"It's no trouble at all! We're friends and there's no way I can just send you out there in the snow." Plus it was also a rare opportunity to have the boy she was crushing on to sleep over! It was practically a dream come true.
"If you do I have a little mini washer you can use to wash your clothes—Oh that's right your bike!" That thing was practically his baby! "Gimme one second I should have something for your bike." She dashes into the bathroom and digs around under the sink to find a folded up tarp. "This should help with keeping all the snow off of your bike lets go cover it up before the snow starts building up too much."
“You’re incredibly nice Yuu, I’ll definitely owe you one.” wIth a smile he places his grasp upon the tarp she had brought. This was definitely going to keep his baby snow free by the time he’s ready to go back home once the storm blows over. “Come on, let’s get this on before it gets worse out there.” For now they’re lucky the violent snow had just started so there’s still time to save his motorbike.

❛ wait, rocky, who told you that …?! ❜ eyes widening, you place your hands over her mouth, cheeks a dark red. turning away slightly, you find yourself stammering, squeaking slightly at his response. taking out your hand fan, you instantly fanned yourself to calm yourself, arousal shooting through your body. ❛ s-so … is that an invitation …? ❜
It’d be too embarrassing to reveal just where he’d learn such language. So for now he’ll just be secretive about his thug-like companion. So right now he’s got his wife a little flustered and there’s nohing left to do but attack. It’s what wolves did best after all so rock gently wrapped his arms around her and held her close. “Ryuujin’s coloring in his room right now, soo yeah it’s an invitation. Show me how good you’d look on me.”

"I-.." That caught him off guard, how was it Alyssa's just this bold right off the bat, no shame or anything of the sort? Just a simple hello, and then it's straight to the compliments.
Gently he'd claps both his hands against his own cheeks, hopefully to rid them of their dark red tint that'd rival his own jacket. "Right out the gate today huh...anymore of that and I might just invite you out to lunch or something."
placing down your pins, you spin around in your chair to get a full look at the blonde. hanamaru’s wedding dress was almost finished, so you used this as the best time to take a break.

Rock’s face was already a painted canvas of splashed crimson, now coupled with the idea of alyssa jumping his bones..no. The blond would then shake his head to get those pesky thoughts out of his head. “Just caught me by surprise, not everyday a hottie comes up to me and hits me with a compliment like that.” The smile on his face was genuine, granted he wished he never used the word ‘hottie’, it did her no favours because what she is is utterly beautiful..gorgeous however, he lacked the courage to speak his mind so bluntly..and there lies the envy.
“Maybe I just wanna feed you, don’t you wanna look at this pretty face while snacking on..well whatever it is you tend to go for when you’re having lunch?” Playful and light banter was something he could do, honestly, sometimes he wished he had Mary to explain these things to him..even his Aunt Mai would have sufficed. “Oh wait, you know Ichigo?? By that logic you must’ve heard there’s going to be a wedding. But yeah I know him through a friend of mine..and he’s also friends with another buddy I used to cross fists with once upon a time.” The world is small.

"You know, I said it was getting late but maybe it might be best you stay the night." And why would she say that? Well she pulls aside the curtain to her little balcony to reveal a nasty snow storm was roaring outside. There was already half a foot of snow forming on the streets too. "That's what I get for trusting the weatherman." If she knew it was going to arrive early she wouldn't have offered to make him some tea since it was so cold out. "I don't have a lot of space but I do have a spare futon you can borrow. In terms of spare clothes though... I think you might be a bit too big to fit." She lets out a small sheepish chuckle. She had one spare shirt that might fight him but that was used as her pajama shirt so she couldn't lend it to him.
He didn’t wanted to think of what’s happening to his poor bike outside under all of that heavy snow. Rock definitely has his work cut out for him when it will come down to thawing his vehicle out of the ice..it hardly ever snows in South Town sooo this will definitely be an experience for him.
“Well, nothing we can do about that. I should thank you for opening your house to me though Yuu. You saved me from going out into the streets..as for my clothes..well I’ll just- not do anything strenuous while I’m here..if I don’t get sweaty I won’t have to stink up my clothes right?” He asked with a rather innocent smile on his face.

❛ I talked to sachiko, she will not have access to you for a week. we are going to kyoto, happy valentines’ day, my rocky. ❜ that was her secret plan: she had prepared the inn, the amenities, itinerary and the transport for the romantic vacation. kyoto would have the second part of his gift, but she had to make sure she executed the first part without issue.
“A week off to spend with my wife?? I’d say it’s a long time coming.” Though there’s stil la part of him that hopes Sachiko would be alright..call it a conscience or him just being a decent human being. But how could he look into the beautiful eyes of his beloved and not want to be selfish..even if it is for a week? “You really put all the stops for valentine’s this year haven’t you honey?” That’s when Rock’s arms found their way linked around her and he’d hold her close enough so he could give her a gentle kiss.
“I love you honey and I’m looking forward to this trip. I’ve never been to Kyoto before. Should be pretty fun after soo much I’ve heard about it. Where are we going first?? The inn?? Or a place to eat?”

".... Um Rock-san the boys side is the other way." It's a good thing she grew up in a mixed orphanage otherwise being seen naked like this would have made her die of embarrassment. It's also a good thing she's the only one in the women's changing room or he'd be in real trouble too. "You should go before you get caught."
CRAP!!! Talk about a mix up..least now he knows he REALLY has to work on his Hiragana..because WHY would they not just use katakana or kanji?! So quickly he turned his back, his hand rubbing the back of his neck before reaching into his blond locks. “I’m sorry about that..believe it or not, reading Hiragana is tougher than it looks..” At least for a foreigner. "Umm yeah..you're right..and sorry again..enjoy your bath." With that Rock steps out..he might have crashed in a wall or two on the way our of the bathhouse.
you close your phone with a proud grin, humming softly. a crash outside intercepted your victory, making you run and open the door.
there was rock, down the street, completely off his bike. ❛ rocky! you were not supposed to listen while … ❜ triumph instantly transitions into worry and concern, running down the street to assess the injuries.

With help he was finally brought from under his bike which felt like a transformer considering how occupied his mind was regarding the message she had sent him. It was unfair how her voice is able to easily disarm him..even this far into the relationship as husband and wife. Whatever pain he had felt falling down..the kisses she had given him more than made up for his clutzy act earlier.
“What can I say, you had me curious. Better I listened to it now. If I did during work…well…let’s just say our baguettes would have nothing on me.”

"U-um.... S-surprise?" She didn't expect him to be at her apartment so fast, though to be fair she did tell him 'as soon as you're free come over to my place' through text. It was kind of her fault for not realizing he could potentially be free today. So here she stood awkwardly in a short cutesy valentines themed maid dress (from work) with a mixing bowl in hand filled with brownie batter. "I was going to surprise you with brownies but uhm.... Since you're here early do you want to bake them with me?"
Oh..he came too early. A part of him KNEW he should have called before hand. Even if he was invited, it would have probably been just as important if he had told her he was on his way. And he had his own wheels so..of course it would only mean he’d get there even faster versus the journey on foot and public transport. A single one of his hand combs his fingers through his blond locks in embarrassment. “Sorry about that..but that’s a great way to surprise me. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth..but there’s no way I’d ever pass up on brownies. So, what can I do to help?”
